FBI said:"To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences."
Well there it is GAF.

Comey is a very trustworthy individual, I believe that there shouldn't be any criminal charges brought on her, but a very important element of his public announcement should be noted.
Hillary has no business running for the most important job in the US with a statement like this coming from the FBI, while Trump is not fit for presidency either in my opinion, the US is truly as a nation, in a lot of trouble with both of these candidates. I don't think there should be celebration from either side of the aisle if you are a voter.

Kind of hard to run for POTUS with revoked security credentials.
Well there it is GAF.
Pretty much, yea...no, because the second half of that quote says that those consequences would be administrative, not legal.
The outcome that was expected.
Kind of hard to run for POTUS with revoked security credentials.
If someone has trouble making that decision then that says a lot about them as a person.
Uh, I mean, no it isn't? There's no requirement that you have security clearance to run for office. How would that even work?
They're not going to revoke her security clearance anyway. Go through all that paperwork and set all those flags just to have to do it all again in six months? Remember, this whole scandal is because NSA IT was lazy in the first place.

Just had to point out that Pearl Jam is the GOAT rock band and this is the GOAT music video.
Well yeah Hillary dipped out of her previous administrative job years ago so it's pretty obvious that there's not a lot of security clearances to be revoked. You don't have to cherry pick/be a Fox News employee to see it as another case of Clinton being slimy as fuck but skating by on technicalities. In fact if Hillary wasn't a presumptive nominee of a major party she probably would've gotten more than just being called naughty, similar to how Trump "managed" to get the Trump U case pushed back to late November. It's all water under the bridge I guess.
I think the real outcome is going to depend on whether Trump and the Republicans can make the message focus on the first 10 minutes of his remarks, where he outlined negligence and incompetence, or whether David Brock and Hillary can successfully push a message of Hillary being vindicated once again. Trump is a fuckup so I presume David Brock will correct this record.

Roasted.Since you clearly have zero experience in dealing with classified information, let me enlighten you a bit.
I've conducted four investigations for accidental/negligent discharge of classified data...in 2016. This stuff happens all the time, and it completely comes down to the circumstances of the event as to whether or not we do a damn thing about it. I've had people carry a backpack full of classified data outside of a SCIF environment. We bring the hammer down for that.
People sending TS data over NIPR can be a serious event, depending on who the recipients were, whether or not we can establish positive control of the distro chain, and explanation for how the data came to be on an unclassified system.
If Hillary and company were discussing TS initiatives and programs in veiled, roundabout terminology, it's fucking nothing. If Hillary was forwarding improperly marked emails that she received on her Blackberry, the originator will be investigated and may have disciplinary action. If Hillary is literally purposefully copying/pasting or typing data she knows is TS into her BB, then she should have charges.
From what we've heard on this case, we know it's not option C. So we're left with fucking nothing.
If you want to use this as a stump for a racist, misogynistic, thin-skinned, uneducated asshole to be president, be my guest. Join Trump in putting on clown shoes while you're at it.
Very consistent with the GOP playbook. They'll probably investigate Comey now just as they did with the IRS director.
He said in the next sentence (that your coicidentally ignored) that it would be administrative discipline and not criminal charges.
None of them being qualities I'd look for in any elected official, let alone the President of the US.

You'd be willing to share what she did on a private server and only expect 'administrative discipline'?
This is leaving an enormous stink on the only party in the US that I've ever voted for. I don't think many people here are looking at this objectively. There are plenty of other potential Democratic torch bearers that could lead the country. I don't see the need to attach our ideals to this person.

That whole press conference was strange. I can't remember the last time the FBI held a presser to announce no charges were forthcoming AND give the accused a nice little tongue lashing. I'd like to see some investigating into how different agencies handle the passing of classified information. I'm willing to bet the results wouldn't be pretty. The governments IT as a whole seems really shoddy.
But...I mean the quote itself says that wouldn't happen.
???
Uh that's completely wrong. If something is regularly considered unclassified "certain terminology" and it's being associated with classified information those terms become classified.
If Hillary read emails and knew they might contain classified information regardless if they were marked at the time then it's her responsibility to mark them.
Disagreeing with Hillary means wanting to vote for Trump? Fuck off with this slippery slope bullshit.
Why don't you share, you are the one who is making accusations.
None of them being qualities I'd look for in any elected official, let alone the President of the US.
So can I go driving without a license and carelessly and get away with it?
She's gonna take a hit of a few points and you'll see a period of people diablosing hard as fuck because Trump will look way more competitive, but Trump will fuck up within a week or so.
