I've seen many BC tests. Most of them useless done with uninteresting games. All I care now is getting bloodborne running in 60 fps and Ff7 remake.

Ff7 got recently a patch. Heard it didn't fix the texture bug. But did it at least unlocked framerate? I want to play this game so much with 60 fps. 30 fps with such fast action game should be not allowed.

Wasn't it locked to 30fps? Unless it's specifically patched, you already know what it looks like running on a PS5 just by looking at the PS4 version, I would think.

The modders did wonders with RE2R, I'm really excited for what they do for FFVIIR.

If you've waited this long I'd just wait for the definitive edition on PC/Next-gen There are bigger issues with the PS4 version than frame rate, mostly textures and LoD. Many parts of FF7R are the best real time visuals in existence, it's worth waiting to hopefully see the blemishes fixed, in native 4K, with additional detail, texture enhancements, and possibly RT.

All I can give you is load time comparison.

This is one game that run perfectly smooth at 30fps without any drops - 60fps would add nothing.

To be honest I'm not really expecting major enhancements for the PC version, and I'm not expecting a 60fps patch on PS5, especially if they're working on a definitive version. The biggest reason I ignored the PS4 version is just that I didn't want to play at 30 if a 60 (or dare I say uncapped) version was going to come eventually.

However, I'll have my hands full with a number of games once PS5 launches, and I do plan on building a completely new and very powerful PC in the next couple of months. So, you're right, it might just be worth waiting for a potentially much improved version in 5 or 6 months.

I´ve tested it on PS5 and man, I gotta say, it´s not a good look at all. The game is severely downgraded, to the point of being unrecognisable, and the load times are not improved at all. Framerates barely hitting 20 fps. And the textures, holy shit.

I mean, look at this shit.

Sony has clearly dropped the ball with BC on PS5. Very disappointing to see. It´s safe to say that the competitor has the edge here.
