some other new stuff also on the site ( screens bios etc )

Maybe I should play through the first one some year. Does it really make a difference where you put places on the map (or whatever that was)?

Cool. So Subarashiki Kono Sekai in July, Crystal Chronicles in August, FFT A2 in October... that leaves FFIVr, DQIVr, and DQIX (maybe delayed) for September, November, and December.

Yeah, you get different items depending upon where you place stuff, and you can get sets of items if you adhere to certain patterns.

Aw crap, I guess there are no hints until it's too late huh.

I doubt they will release FFIVr the same month as Nomura Fangasm Fantasy VII Crisis Core. All signs point to a DQIX delay, with DQIV in November and FFIV in December :(

I don't recall there being any hints at all. It's really a lame system. I'd just use a guide for it.

:(

S'what I figured also. Ah well.

First game was a blast to just run through. When my friend traded me some fabled sword from his save to mine, I was ripping it up double hits Ninja style!

Wait, FFIV with be released this year? Madness. How many SE games will be release the for the end of this year?

This is good, the sooner they release the games
in Japan the sooner we'll get them stateside.
DS + S-E = awesome stuff.

I personally got tons of enjoyment out of FFTA, playing it on the bus to/from work for several months, just creating a perfect army. Battles were way easier than FFT and the storyline was nowhere near as interesting; but I still liked it. I'm looking forward to this one, retarded Cid design in tow.

I thought FF4DS (from the director of The Bouncer) was 2008? I'd expect Crystal Bearers before that game.

Kind of a loaded way to phrase his resume, no? Tokita was also one of the principal guys behind the original FFIV, and the team member that wrote most of the game, as you're well aware.

...interesting, good to know its in good hands

Sweet. The first was probably my favorite GBA game. (alongside Golden Sun 2) I don't suppose we have any idea on how long this will take to make it to the US?

I dont get why he thinks being director of the bouncer is worth noting more than saying he was involved with the original game.

I guess he just wants us to know that the game is going to suck.

I really hope this is better (especially story-wise) then FFTA.

Can someone tell me how those character, Luso? whatever his name is, fits into the FFT remake? Is he just silent and plopped into the game, or did they actually write him in?

You forgot FF:CC = September.

Nov/Dec is likely FFIV/DQIX.

I just hope the story/characters are better written than the first one. Aside from that, I got a lot of enjoyment out of it.

I want FFIV, DQIV and DQIX soooooooooooooo bad.

IT HURTS.
This needed to be expressed in a thread solely about FFTA2.

After seeing this, I'm considerably more expectant for this title. I mean, it's not like I haven't already spent over 500 hours on the first one alone.

I weep for my future.

I didnt know FFTA2 and FFIV were this year, they sure waste no time

No biggie, I'll buy all of them. I loved FFTA on GBA, probably my favorite game on the system.

The FF love on DS is outstanding! I love it!

I'm not proud --- what's good enough for the Last Remnant preview article writers is good enough for me
Wow, I didn't think you'd go as far as comparing Tokita with Takai in a topic that really has nothing to do with LR. Let it go Yat-sen, it happens all the time in this industry. :lol

As long as they've taken out the whole judgment system, this is a do want for me. Now I need to get a DS........

Even with the silly story of the first, the game was fun to play. I know this one's supposed to be just as lighthearted, but I hope it's just as fun.

FFTA2 trailer is available on that official website too. Click on the second buttom from the right that is located near the bottom of the webpage. Looks totally awesome to me !

Looks like Balfonheim.
This game looks great, it will probably be much better received than FFTA since people were expecting FFT-2 from that game.

The law system still exists, but in a completely different (and far less problematic) form. Also, from what I read in a preview (I've read too many to remember which), each clan can recruit it's own judge for various purposes, but to what extent you can control the laws I don't know.

Edit : Here's the official trailer, if anyone missed it.

Well blow me down with a feather, another DS game by SE this year? to add to FFVI, DQ9 etc, wowzers they like money at the moment.

Note to SE, the UK would love those games before 2010, thanks
