FIFA 15 Demo - Did EA Actually Get it Right?

Stuck at 66% on Origin.

"No response from the download server"

Hopefully it'll be stable soon - very curious to see how far it's come since 11.

terrible yes, you are right. 100 percent. you obviously cant be objective about the fact that both games have their pros and cons, but fifa is overall the better package and you cant argue against that.
 
I've enjoyed it so far, unusual for me with FIFA demos.

My first goal was a Martin Skrtel tap-in from a counter attack. Proper depressing stuff.
 
Hey, I guess I should ask this here instead creating a thread but is anyone here not getting any coins from wins and transfer market sells in fifa 14?
 
Well the replays run at 30fps but the highlights run at 60fps and look much better for it, Hope they patch the replays on the PC.

Not hugely impressed with the game it plays, still feels way to similar to the older games.

I'm not debating the whole package, I'm debating the gameplay which is what every other component of the package is built around. Everything that is built, the modes, presentation, commentary, either lead you back to playing the game or enhance the gameplay experience. In the end, gameplay is fundamental. This is why games like ryse are judged to be poor games. Amazing package but it's a poor game, why? Gameplay. Unfortunately, fifa is a poor game. If you wrap a turd in a beautiful package, does it make it not a turd?
 
I can outrun cpu defenders with a fast player....i've waited so long for this. Also, keepers do stupid stuff too many times. Otherwise, it feels smooth.
 
can someone tell me the graphic options for the PC demo? I'm at work - can't check and interested (if possible).

there you go again, if this isnt fanboy comment then i dont know what is. i have said many times they both have their pros and cons, you on the other hand keep saying fifa is shit, which is not the case, at all. fifa has the better presentation, the teams, the online, the community, something PES doesnt have, at least at fifas level. PES could take some ideas from fifa just like fifa can take from pes, gameplay is subjective, dont try to make you OPINION FACT like you have been trying to do all this time.

Fifa is far from a shitty game, if you dont know how to play it or how things work then ask or find out before making dumb assumptions based on what? on a game you havent played cause it hasnt come out. I think PES 2014 was better than fifa 14, many will disagree, you probably think pes 2014 was crap, i thought it was great. PES is a great game no doubt, but IMO, its not better than fifa.

You can be mad all you want, fact is, fifa outsells pes every year 10:1, even fifa street outsells PES. What was once a gerat football franchise, was left behind by incompetent developers who failed to listen to their fans and couldnt adapt to a new console generation. Fifa has and will continue to do so, in the meanwhile, since i run a games page here in my country, i will be playing both and objectively reviewing both of them.

either way, just wait for pes if you dont want to play fifa, am done with this discussion. its fifa time for me.

I have to disagree. Easily 90% of tackles, be it from the CPU or myself, were always called clean. Many situations that were definite fouls would never be called. PES/WE absolutely NAILED referee AI (at least BITD), and this is the one thing that kills me about EA not getting correct in their games.

Also offside calls are still poor. Game calls them remotely before an attacking player has even a sniff at the ball.

Being a referee of 14 years...this has always bugged the shit out of me.
