Having played a fair amount of 14, I came into the 15 demo hoping for some feeling "more next-gen." Wowza, this is it.

Well, not at first. I've always been bad with the default camera angle, yet never thought to switch it. So I changed to a higher overhead angle, similar almost to NHL, and it is amazing.

I can now defend decently, and pass way more precisely than before, and with the upgraded animations and visuals, the game makes me look way better than I actually am. At least on default difficulty.

I am definitely getting this game.

yes, not such a huge change from 09 to 10, but significant enough

Yes, it felt very different for me. I had to get used to it.

It's definitely an improvement over Fifa 14, but it still has that same Fifa problem of lacking a midfield. It's just back and forth attacks, which is fun and all, but I'll wait for PES 15 to see how it compares.

I played the PC demo, and this version is using the next-gen engine correct? I thought it looked pretty bad, even maxed out.

I like it a lot.

I liked it alright except for the amount the CPU player held onto the ball for so long without passing (which gets remedied a bit by going higher difficulty)

But I played it for 3-4 hours versus other humans and it's really nice.
The FIFA 14 tactics that I've been pretty successful against them do not work that well any more. I score way less goals against human opponents that I used to.

The GK is doing some blunders from time to time which I hope they fix. It will get deserved bad reactions if it stays exactly as is.

What is definitely super fun is the pressing game you can do as the defense in this version. The amount of extra animation just to interfere with the ball by having presence around an attacker makes this very fun and very viable.

How does the PC demo compare to the PS4/XB1 versions? Anyone who has played both?

I can only play the PC version, but I expected to be blown away more, since the last FIFA game I played was FIFA 12.

A goal like in the gif is frustrating. But on the other hand, keepers do make mistakes like that in real football too. Even good keepers. As long as it happens every now and then I can be okay with that.

Am I playing a different game to everybody else? This is fucking awful. The AI has got worse and just runs round in erratic circles like a robot until it decides to just hoof the ball out of play, the ball sticks to your feet when dribbling or taking a first touch like a last-gen game, crossing and heading are broken, defenders may as well not exist in the penalty area, the HUD elements are all pushed to the edge of the screen, the passing power is all messed up, and as for goalkeepers, the less said the better.

I'm sticking with FIFA 14, it feels much better.

I always feel like demos suck for fifa. That's why I don't really bother with them. They're so much different from the actual game that they're pretty useless.

Huh, what's different? I played the 14 demo a lot and assumed the full game was identical.

The demo is usually not the final build. And there are always an awful lot of bugs and errors in the demos.

But I usually buy FIFA yearly anyways, I just stopped trying the demos a few years ago. Recently I actually played the FIFA 14 demo with some dudes to play against each other because the guy we were at didn't own FIFA. The demo felt pretty weird, even after 100+ hours of playing the actual game myself.

Regarding the demo, has anyone been able to spot the players visibly breathing yet? EA touted that amazing new feature in one of their videos, but gosh darn, I've yet to spot it.

Sadly, I'm not surprised EA is going to separate, and sell, player celebrations as DLC.

We were just messing around since we like shooting from far of (like in Fifa 14). It wasn't hard and, but it wasn't easy also. Difficulty/skill of goalkeepers were unchanged, so I guess average/normal.
