Fifa 15 now in the EA Access Vault

EA access is starting to be come something I'm going to have to start thinking about getting. I just need 2 more good non-sports games.

And the more popular EA access gets, the less you'll get from them.

Nah, the price will still stay high on the free market e.g., ebay, craigslist, and also the trade-in value on Amazon US has not dropped at all. Still the same.

Clearly, you don't play sports games. There are a TON of new changes every year in their sports games from gameplay to a lot of features.

Well there is only so many games EA can put out. But i'd still sub for a few months just for those early access holiday games and the 10% savings.

Could see EA getting into more indy stuff this E3, to fill in the gaps in EA Access.

Yup, and even if you buy 3 EA games. That 10% off makes it worth getting the subscription.

Yea, but if that's only because EA Access provided a means for playing them so cheap.

It's like if we got amazing Steam-like prices on digital games, and you then point and say "the more that happens the less you can sell you physical game for!!!". Well, yea... but, the less you can now buy them for too.

Meh, wait and see, after 6 months the value of these games drop quick, even quicker if 2 months later it's available for 2$ a month.

Clearly you say, I've never even worked up a sweat most likely. Plus I'm allergic to digital leather.

I'm not sure you get his point tbh. He's saying having past version of sport titles on the service is pointless, and that they shouldn't really count.

Still doesn't make sense, you can check beforehand exactly what games are included in the service. It's not a black box deal.
There are some really strange angles people have on this thing.

Yea, I don't get the complaint either tbh. I'd rather they not be removing shit over time. PS+ and GwG are initially very weak library wise, until you've been subscribed for a longer duration, and if you happen to not be subscribed whilst something is in rotation, then you've missed it forever. Having everything remain in the vault means that later subscribers aren't punished for possibly not even having the console beforehand.

Depends on the person. If your favourite player retired, you might stick to playing an older game every once in a while to still have him in the game. I used to do that to have Gretzky in my NHL games :)

I might want to play FIFA 14 again so I can pick my German national Team with Klose and Lahm still there LOL
I also think achievement-hunters might appreciate it if they can track down some Madden 25 or FIFA 14 stuff.

These EA Access threads always end up the same way. The undeniable fact is that if you are a fan of EA games the service offers incredible value.

Great point. Let's end this philisophical debate. The service is here and ppl are using it.

If anybody in here is new to FIFA or EA Access and has any questions... feel free to ask!
Let's discuss the game and not the way we got it.

Works at Videogamer.com but i'd seen it mentioned on Hot UK Deals

That's a ridiculous deal, I really didn't realize how good of a deal the EA Vault was until now, wow, consider me uber impressed!

Cool I guess. I had to cancel mine since I never used it. I'm not a huge fan of EA sports titles and I already have Dragon Age, and Battlefield 4 by disk for the PS4 so it really did nothing for me,but this is good news to fifa fans and EA fans alike or even those who want a good deal.

Sorry to bump this, but I made a point to check back a few days later to see how this news affected the buy-in price from Amazon as people traded theirs in.

When the news first broke, you could get £21 for your used copy from them, the dropped slightly as I posted before. Currently they're offering up to £8.58 for an "as new" copy, slightly less for a good copy.

So it appears that a nice knock-on effect of this could be that you can either cash in quick as games are announced and play the system that way, or if you don't subscribe, at least maybe take advantage of bargain priced used copies appearing a little later.

I checked after you posted and it said "up to £18.35". Just checked again now and it's quoting "up to £16.59" lol - get what you can while you can!

It has dropped to £8.58 now! There was probably an influx of trade-ins. The price may go up again in the next few days, though.

Edit: The post above mine basically said the exact same thing as me, just twelve hours earlier... never mind.

EA Access saved me $60 by giving me a free trail of Battlefield Hardline. I'll stick with 4, thanks.

Also, early access to Battlefront. Great service.

Yeah, this deal just gets better and better. Seriously I dont want to buy most EA games, but access to the vault for £20 per year? Grand.

Sorry to bump this, but can't seem to find info about this on google, but doesn't anybody know if I can buy a subscription for this at gamestop yet?
