Sigh... I think I've aged a few years because of this game.

Ugh. Canada's not going to get far in this tournament if the strikers don't find that killer instinct for goal scoring. Seems like every time they drive to the box, they suddenly pull the brakes and kill their own momentum. Polish up dat finish.
I find it hard to believe there's no better forwards in Canada than Filigno, Tancredi and Leon. They never do anything. Filigno especially has been a starter for years and she's always invisible. Surely you could find a good prospect in the u-20 pool of players. She couldn't do worse and would gain experience.

Straight bummed out. I wasn't able to watch any of the matches today. I'm glad China and Thailand won their matches.

Yah, I saw the highlights of the Thailand game and I had to rewind a few times because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.China was great. Thailand won because of two really obvious off side goals, really ridiculous officiating.
Good news about the turf for todays game, they'll be watering the artificial turf so the ball won't be sticking to the ground as much, and won't stop when bouncing.
Should result in much more movement from both sides.
It's bad enough with the turf having to be artificial, no need to make it worse by having it dry as well.
Big game today! It's going to be in the middle of the night over here though.
Between USA - Sweden game at 2 in the morning, GoT finale at 3 in the morning on Monday, and E3 Sony presser at 3 in the morning on Tuesday, I won't bet getting much sleep the next few days.
What's the word on Asllani's injury? Can she play today?
The injury was a minor one. It was mostly cramps, a big problem for the Swedish team for some reason in the game against Nigeria, half the team had cramps before the game was over, could've been due to not enough hydration. She said herself in an interview yesterday, it was a one time thing, and not connected to any prior injuries or anything that would hinder her playing the next game.
So she's in the team, but will start on the bench (according to rumors)
I'm guessing Schough will replace her in the starting lineup? She had a nice backheel pass to Schelin that led to the third goal.
Man, I'm in Scotland and don't think I can stay up till 1 for the US game.
Thanks!43 min
Yeah that was dumbNigerian defender didn't need to wait for the ball.... now Aussies have a great chance
ball bounces so strange on fake turf :/
