Oh shit, the 360 can't render hats.

Both look awesome. It seems that the PS3 keeps using quinqux hence the blurer textures.

Edit:

Wait. WTF:

Hats for lighting trade off confirmed.

The trainer hats are either a GameStop pre-order bonus or 800 point DLC. :D

Honestly though, the shit looks the same to me.

Nuder ladies in PS3 version.

More hats, less clothes.

(seriously though, with stuff like this, screenshot comparisons are kinda pointless)

I'm guessing there is a camera flash going off in the PS3 pic or something.

No it's not. Drama queen :p

I'm starting to believe those hats are customizable/random. They're on different colors depending on the version and the same guy can wear or not a hat depending on the situation.

This is going to get ugly.
It would only get ugly if there were actually a difference. As it stands, it looks to be one of the best multiplatform games in a while. There seems to be virtually no real difference this time. FN3 had compromised backgrounds on PS3 (the crowd was ugly as hell), but that isn't the case here. Looks basically the same (which is to say, fantastic).

That's good to know.

I'm definitely amped up for it. I remember seeing FNR3 for the first time. It's actually the game that put me on edge to buy an Xbox 360.

Sorry but I can tell the textures are sharper on the 360 version even at quick glance, purchase on 360 confirmed as usual.

sigh what, for those of us that own both consoles this is a legitimate gripe. People can comment on how minor it is all they like, the fact is it's there and I can easily see it. At 57inch upscaled to 1080p it'll be dam obvious side by side.

I agree that the textures are slightly(Had to squint) sharper on the 360 version. But you really have to take a close look and it's still hard to notice. No way you took a quick look and saw anything bra.

oh come on, its really quite obvious as soon as you loo... holy shit, whos the hot chick in your avatar? :D

I purposely didn't even look at what screen shot was for what console and I could tell within seconds.

The fact is EA should have their #$%& together by now, frankly I expect the PS3 version to look better or at least have some additional wizbang fx(ie PS2 sparks) not crappy AA that blurs the dam textures.

What is it with PS3 games using Quincunx ? Is it a PS3 requirement ? Does Sony hand out bonus payments to devs that use it ?

Why can't they just use plain old 2xAA and be done with it ? From what I read it's the same cost.
