Hey USD (and everyone else, I guess): I'm thinking of making a thread about EVO, mostly concerning registration and possibly splitting hotel rooms among GAFfers and/or organizing a meet-up at the event. Just wondering if you've already got something like that in the works and that I shouldn't duplicate the effort.

I am yet to see a tournament which doesn't have good turnout for SFxT. The last I heard the pre-registration numbers for Texas Showdown reads 100 for SFxT, 100 for AE2012, 60 for UMvC3. 50 for SCV and 20-30 for everything else. You must be out of your mind if you believe Skullgirls has a chance of having a better turnout than SFxT in EVO.

Thats either suprisngly low for UMVC or suprisingly high for SCV. Not sure which.

SCV has consistently good turnout numbers, 130+ for Winter Brawl, 230+ for FR and 90+ for NCR. That TOs are still giving it less attention and frequently putting it before KOFXIII on stream despite having a better turnout is nothing short of scandalous.
And entry fee for UMvC3 is 20 which is probably why it's lower.
