this was a few years back. my father and i were watching a saints away game with buck and troy aikman commentating. i forget the game but basically someone was having issues with their cleats. troy, unsolicited, offered this gem that i cannot forget.

"You know, they have all these different cleats, quarter inch spikes, 3/4 inch spikes, and half inch spikes. Im just glad the trainers know about that stuff because I dont understand the difference."

my father and I stopped. looked at one another, and we both, in unison, folded our hands over our faces.

This is why people don't wanna put money into the FGC. This is the internet version of a fistfight at a wake, over stupid shit that could have been squashed privately. This makes everyone look bad.
 
Watson seems like one of those old 90s heads kinda hanging on in his old ways of doing things(including holding on to an arcade beyond most reasonable logic). Probably ranks high on Jazz-ism's real scale. You'd think eventually we be over this, there was like a million ways you could have handled this besides making a big stream and calling dudes out and saying they were fuckin' faggots, ya know

This Watson archive is embarrassing. Even the accusations sent his way do not prescribe a retaliation of this magnitude.

Delete the evidence or keep this as yet another example that people need to get their shit together before they bring everything down with them?

How can folks here complain about e-drama when a lot of you watched the OBS and crap? They do it for you, and you thank them by spreading the word like this.

Hell they even have proper match up stats so if I want to look up Dendi's record of using Queen of Pain against Alliance's S4 Nightstalker.. I can get those stats. Where the hell can I get ChrisG's Morrigan versus FChamp's Dormammu stats? Nowhere that's what's up.

Aren't Dota statistics readily available because there exist tools to parse through replays? That's what I gathered from the segment about the factoid guy during TI3, at least.

right, pretty much every number and event in the game is recorded and available to examine, and everything is tied to accounts
