If I remember correctly, Tokido was invited back but couldn't make it.
 
I don't think BBCP's netcode is really worse than the old games I think it's more that the game is sped up like crazy across the board and the netcode wasn't designed with a game of it's speed in mind.

With that said it's still really good, shit connections are shit connections

I've only plays like 10 matches so far today, but this has pretty much been my experience so far. I really think it feels about the same as the CT and CS, it's just the speed making bad connections feel worse. As long as you get a good connection its as good as it's ever been.

That's kind of what I figured. I have a friend that I have a god awful connection with and can't play most fighters with him. The only games that have been playable with him are MvCO and Darkstalkers. Need to try out 3sO again now that the patch has hit.

I think the problem a lot of people have is they see high level and want to play like that right off the back, or just straight up don't know the steps to learn the games in.

The games are fairly easy to pick up if you learn things one step at a time.

Iunno man. Playing with 3 bars gets random lag out of nowhere that destroys the lobby but when I play with a 1 bar on the other side of the world there's hardly any lag once we let the connection stabilize. ArcSys games confirmed to have mood swinging netcode?

LOL I know what you are talking about, honestly I think it's something to do with the lobby system in this one. My lag spikes are way more stable in the virtual arcade thingy.

I think it depends on the player and match ups. I see it a bit less often than before though.

I think Spooky could care less for some odd reason. Doesn't look like he has the same attitude as he used too. Wouldn't be surprised if he shut it down in the near future. Bum is taking almost everybody cause his place is a lot closer than Battle Circuit for quite a few people.

And do what? Move Next Level to another part of New York City? I think if anything, the weekly stream is going to get cut completely, at this rate.

Most of the Marvel players stopped going not only because of the location but also the subpar laggy setups.

I don't think he will cut the weekly stream but they should think about replacing marvel with another fighter & attracting new comers.

Spooky new mod rules.

Ban with no warnings:

1) userNames with sexual / racist references

2) Racism / Sexism in general. just don't do it!

3) userNames that impersonate me / mods / players (examples Mike_R0ss <-- Bad mike_ross_4th_place <-- ok)

4) in general any username that we consider disruptive will be permabanned at our discretion and not unbanned.

5) Ascii macros like doge etc. Don't do it if you dont want your username banned!

6) Copy pasting a previous users comment with the intent of starting a chain of copy paste. Don't do it everyone involved will be banned.

7) In general anything that causes too much scroll in the chat / makes it impossible for me / anyone else to follow what is going on has a great chance of getting you permanently banned without notice.

8) Unauthorized links / evading the link filter

Things that will get you banned on a case by case basis.

1) Racism / Sexism

2) Obsessive / unnecessary hate on what is being showed on stream (Examples: 'fck injustass', 'GET THAT ** OFF THE MIC' etc) recommendation: if you don't like what is being shown tune in later when something you do like is on.

3) 'Storytime' / Disgusting / insulting troll stories. You know what i am talking about the paragraph long nonsense that is not needed. Save that stuff for somewhere else not the stream chat.

4) Hive mentality / creating usernames with the intent of forcing disruption to get a point across. example : all the devilmayspy names at the last event. Stuff like this never ever convinces me to do what you want anyway, use a more polite/sensible avenue.

5) Requests in all Caps / demanding things in general. Ok: Spooky please update the game name! Bad "Update the fucking game name you assholes'

Those rules are BS, I still see Emp_sanfords_lip_pump is there. I understand its alot of work for spooky banning stuff himself but hes got to get new mods in there. I would rather see developers jump in the chat every now and then too.
 
It's not the weather. It's literally Marvel players deciding Next Level is not worth going to and they rather go to Bum's house the next day or so.

Bum has like 35-40+ people show up to his house meets. I've seen players and bum say on his stream people should just skip Next level and come to Bum's.

It sucks for Next Level and Spooky but whatever they should move on and offer other games for people to play.

Good shit on Poem saying he will bring his Xbox One next week for people to come play KI.
