Jam Session ≠ Captain Corridor

Those moves in this instance don't even serve the same purpose. Because if that was the case then Jam Session would be the answer to MorriDoom but as history has so far proved it isn't. This is mainly to Jam Session's startup versus the Corridor coming out as soon as CapCom hits the screen.

The thing is I'm thinking of that move from a Marvel 2 standpoint where all that move did was snuff things because of that move's wild hitbox. It would probably eat the missiles on the way down and better stop Doom from even firing them with correct assist placement. And if nothing else make Morrigan really think carefully about Soul Fist placement and the use of Astral Vision.

In the end though, apples & oranges. The Corridor in the state that it was in Marvel 2 would never exist because it would have some startup which would take away the factor that makes the assist itself viable.
Chris + Jam Session actually works vs Morridoom though.

Jam Session actually performs excellent against MorriDoom. Looks like someone hasn't been keeping up with the meta game.

Like I said if Corridor was ported wholesale into MVC3 (including the invincibility) it would be OP and destroying MorriDoom would be just one of its applications. But without those i-frames it would be a less active Jam Session with more knockback and OTG capability. Solid assist but not game breaking.

apparently twith support and obs are talking on twitter. Twitch support calling obs "twitter terrorist" due to the amount of people hashtagging #freeobs and other things.

Not only to mention people saying "FREEDOM OF SPEECH" and various other stupid things.

lol

Which is Chris G pops Astral Vision, shoots missiles and wins tournaments.

When Jam Session puts a complete halt to that please let me know.

Or is the game still guess wrong on an exchange and die?

And now I finally understand why you want this game fixed so badly.

To be completely honest I haven't played the game enough to care in who knows how long and that was when Sentinel got the health nerf back in Vanilla.

When it comes to the Corridor you are correct. In 3 a wholesale port of the move it would have many applications that is true. Like I said though, taking away everything that makes that move what it was and it wouldn't be the same tool and would not be as practical for the hypothetical application this example calls for. Even in that state however it could be an answer for the hypothetical application this example calls for. All in how you choose to view it I suppose.

So in the end it would seem that those who still shape the meta game have some work to do and a problem to solve with many more problems ahead of you. If those who still play the game want the answer bad enough then you'll find it. If not then MorriDoom and TAC infinites is where the game will settle and you'll just have to accept the game on those merits and soldier on and keep playing. If history speaks however there may be something worse than those things that those who play may have to deal with later. If that is the case then it will however come much quicker in 3 than the game settling into The 6 like Marvel 2 did though.

This should be fun to watch.

Playing some Kof 98, kof 2000, and kof 2002 with some other people. Man the assists in 2000 are crazy. Some of them stay out for so long

There are several under-used characters in Marvel that have the potential to shake up the MorriDoom matchup. RR and Jill are two.

The reason MorriDoom seems so awesome is because it seems to be run by less than five people in the US, and one of them is the most consistently top UMvC3 player in the world.

MorriDoom probably isn't the only bit of endgame in Marvel. Zero/Sent/Akuma and simiar teams are also way up there.

Just out of curiosity: Hector and Paulo from Netherrealm, two Injustice producers, are on Spooky's stream chat, and they talk a lot, make jokes, answer questions very friendly (I asked Hector if he was Brazilian and he said his wife is, he came to Rio de Janeiro and came back married lol) and just have a good time.
Really nice being able to talk to game producers casually like this, and they are great guys it looks like

Yeah the Injustice guys really keep up to speed with the community. Especially Paulo. If you see Injustice being streamed anywhere, chances are you'll see Paulo in the chat.

Saltford incoming

Indeed. A little bit of interaction with your fan base goes a long way

It is a very very nice thing. I think a lot of that goes on even now, but we just don't hear about it.

They're pretty hilarious at giving players shit too on twitter.

Yeah, and Ed Boon as well.
Netherrealm is doing a great job with Injustice, gotta say
Capcom, take notes!

Yeah. One of the reasons I'm happy that Injustice is being received well in the FGC in general is because NRS have gone out of their way to cater to the community and they really don't have to. Plus they're not Japanese. They come from our own culture so it's easier to communicate with them and it's easier for them to understand where the community comes from on a lot of things.

The NRS community just needs to stop with the victim complex shit because it's gonna end up being self-fulfilling prophecy stuff if the leaders of that community don't step it the fuck up.

Yeah, them not being Japanese indeed helps a lot, but even in other stuff, like...Batgirl was released and hours later someone discovered an infinite with her. NRS took it away is less then 24 hours! That's GODLIKE!
On the other hand, Capcom left us more than one month with that fucking stupid SfxT bug where Rolento freezes the game when he throws a knife into a fireball...

Chris G won NCR. Don't quite see what could happen at any time during a tournament changes anything or even helps you try to make a valid point.

In that instance I'll give Senor Taxi all the props deserved for using that combination to defeat Chris G but like I said didn't stop him from winning the whole damn thing.

And if this is the answer Marvel 3 players seek then everybody needs a pocket Chris + Jam Session every time Chris G does something.

If you guys can keep Jean from going dark you'll figure out some uniform way to deal with this.

Exactly. Meta games never stop evolving. T. Hawk in ST can tell you exactly what I mean. Just because a game has settled or will soon doesn't mean the game can't evolve somehow. All you can do is keep at it.

When's Injustice?

NRS guys are freaking awesome good to see a U.S dev like them really support their game and fans. :D

Twitch has been sucking for the past couple of weeks. They're regressing. The ios app has gone back to being unplayable again.

This is why I hope Youtube Live steps their shit up when it comes to chat. If they can fix that up it will be a really godlike alternative to Twitch TV.

Edit:

THAT JURI ALT MAKING HER LOOK REAL THICK.

While fast patch hotfixing is great, 2 dlc characters within the month of release, tons of cosmetic dlc, some obtainable through Apps or whatever and shotgun balance patches is something Capcom already does or should not do.
2 hour mediocre movie to cruise through is not that great either (Deception handled single player content better, really)

Generally that's been the problem- people aren't going to put in lab time to beat Chris G at major events when he repeatedly pot splits at every opportunity.
