Fighting Games Weekly | Sept 16-22 | EVO does a 360 and walks away

Its sort of absurd that none of the gods play a Zero Jam Session team. Even Flocker's Zero team is unoptimized for his main character yet he won EVO with it.

He sucks so much that there were two Dante players in top 8 EVO who were practically unknown.

At this point it doesn't even matter how good Dante is because he is attached to Jam Session which is Zero's best assist and one of the best anti Morrigan assists in the game. Any Zero player not using Jam Session against Morrigan is already playing at a disadvantage.

But Dante as a character is better than Doom only he doesn't give you TACs.. TACs will start to become irrelevant when more people start using Zero. Flocker's team makes no use of TACs and still wins because he simply kills you with Zero or XF Vergil/Hawkeye.

I could very easily see Flocker pick up Dante though, he has tinkered around with him but not at the proficiency that Flux plays the duo.

oh street fighter 4 is like st or 3s to me now, i don't really need to work on keeping up my knowledge, it'll just always be there. injustice is a different story! i played a bit online on monday and realized that i'd forgotten a ton of stuff in the last few months.

what is a good equivalent for GUY in Injustice in terms of irrelevance... oh yeah, CYBORG!
 
That's pretty awesome. I wonder if Spooky has a lot of Japanese fans...and if they make fan art or ascii art of him.
 
Unfortunately the people at the event today are only industry or press according to Spooky. So pretty much the comp is really free for the most part. I could probably put a 20 win streak together as long as the really good players stay away.

yeah the first 2 days are for industry people. Saturday and Sunday it's open to the public.

I think this is the schedule for the stream.
Thursday- Industry
Friday- Unveiled
Saturday- Public
Sunday- Capcom Cup
