Thief Deadly Shadows - one of the most overlooked games on the system. It'd probably be a better pick up on the PC but I can't get the thing to run under Vista 64 so if that's your OS too, go Xbox.

My ps2 collection is actually pretty pathetic, I plan to pad it and my cube one out after this, and continue backtracking all the way to atari 2600ish

10 year strategy!
 
Xyanide. The game has flaws. But it's unique, has great art and music, and seems pretty obscure and rare, so it would make a great collection piece.

Guilty Gear: XX: The Midnight Carnival: #Reload (X-box version is the only verison of Reload on consoles *besides the PSP* in the US)
Burnout 3: Takedown (fuck Revenge).

You pretty much have everything I was going to suggest already, though. (Drop Advent Rising, it isn't that good).

Oh, and add: Doom 3: Resurection of Evil (the expansion) to your list if you like the X-box port of Doom 3. More of the same, but it has a new artifact (the heart) and a gravity gun clone.

I have both the doom 3s, what is the US name of that guilty gear? Didn't see one on ebay or anything.

You've gotta at least have the first Buffy game in there even if you're not into the show. It can also be a part of your good licensed games collection.

I usually avoid horror games based on the fact none of them are scary.

I'm also part of the enemy of the old RE fans as I prefer the new direction, now not scary, but fun! :p

Buffy is a shit license, so it is disqualified, even if the game is good.
 
hmm..id love to add Def Jam: Fight for NY (wu-tang!) but its not BC. I didnt see Fatal Frame 2 up there, and i cant imagine its anything but good in 5:1 if you're a horror fan.

I dont think half of my games work on 360 at all and the other 1/4 probably run like shit, I have yet to get xbox 1 component cables though.. one day.
 
not that you haven't considered this, but a quick glance shows em up on ebay for about $10, not too shabby.

ive recently started picking up old xbox games to play on the 360 (didnt have the older system, and gamestop is letting shit go on the cheap). so far though, ive mostly just checked the official backwards-compatibility list...not to derail your thread, sir, but are many games know to run like shit? we talking framerate here or wha? i just grabbed KOTOR 1 & 2, Jade Empire, Red Dead, few others and id hate to here they're gonna be botched.

I actually liked that game. It was pretty fun and not half as bad as people say it is.
 
Deus Ex Invisible War, awesome game ( naysayers, don't compare to the first game ... i like my shooters a bit dumbed down and less complex )

Oh! Also the Indiana Jones game that uses the SAME engine as the Buffy game is fucking awesome. Seriously, if you can find them pick them up!

US/EU uses the X2 title compared to Japan's XX. Why? I dunno.
 
Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams

Probably my most disturbing movie/music/game experience ever, took me probably a year or so to get the courage to finish it.

The suffering games and manhunt.

The suffering is the reason I picked up the xbox 1. I seen the previews for it and was set on getting that game.

i never watched the show, but the 1st game was good. I was surprised by the combat, some mean beatdowns were given out.

Lots of great games already mentioned, the Warriors game was good too.
