Jay Cooper, Horner's lawyer, told The Hollywood Reporter that he is trying to contact the composer and hasn't heard from him since the crash. NBC News reports that Horner is missing, citing Cooper.

Say what you will about the quality of the film itself (I love it, and have ever since I saw it in theaters as a kid), but the score is some god tier stuff.

He could be shameless when it came to ripping himself off (and earlier in his career, 20th century classical composers) but he was one of the last few composers still eager to write big themes in his scores. Seems like that's gone by the wayside in the last decade or so.
