Yeah, the announce trailer and info looked great. It's going to be neat finally getting to play this version and I already know it's going to look good thanks the taste of sampling some of the original version in PCSX2.

Did they open with a ludicrously bad presentation/announcements? This is the first time in my life people have thought I was joking when recapping a presentation. Today was emblematic and confirmation of a company with poor leadership/management.
I'm sure they have great things lined up but today should have been the day to announce them given the significance of the day they selected and theme of the presentation.
Things that should have been relegated to minor announcements on their website was front and center for some reason. The entire presentation was completely disrespectful to the franchise that built their house.
"Things are in the pipeline" doesn't excuse an embarrassing presentation.

It was the one where Toriyama went on stage and waxed lyrical about Lightning being akin to a rose. Before promising that Lightning Returns would be the most ambitious and polished FF game ever or something.

I was watching at the PAX Prime Party direct feed from Japan. I remember the utter silence in that room.
It's too bad they didn't stream the actual cool stuff, like Tabata and Naora talking about the pre-production on a possible future Type-[x] game, and showing off all the artwork and stuff which will now likely never see the light of day. T_T

I really don't understand why people wanted something like that when 5 yrs ago they already published something similar.
It is different this time. Because people now are asking for a collection box for modern systems. The one they did back then was just rereleases.
I agree, S-E should get off their asses and release FFVIII on mobile so FF1-9 will all be available on a modern system pretty much everyone has. That's the only omission.
