No. PSN versions are PS1 CD ISOs.
You can enable fast loading on PSP, but sometimes the game crashes. Often, there is no improvement at all.

They still have the smoothing option in the fat's. I still play vagrant story without it on. It's not as good as the Ps2 however.

So I left this downloading while I was out and expected it to be on my PSP when I was back. Little did I know that Media Go downloaded ff9 but didn't move it to my PSP because there wasn't enough space (which there was). I had to re-download it straight to the PSP through wi-fi. WTF Media Go, I had 2.5 GB of free space.

I think the PS2 could actually apply filtering to the PS1 textures, but PS3 just upscales the whole base image instead.

Got it yesterday and put about an hour into it. Love the graphics and feel of it. This time im going to take my time and explore everything and really get to grips with the abilities system. Still need to complete 8 though.
