I do not understand the bell as a weapon. In FFT, the Geomancer was a sword and cloth warrior. It also seems like you cannot use the environment to attack enemies (according to the screenshots). It seems like more like a Bard to me.

In FF3 and FF5, they equipped bells.

I'm very dissapointed with the graphics in this game.

Who's making this, do we know it? I don't think is an internal SE game.

It looks weirdly similar to the Chocobo Racing game that was announced for 3DS at launch.

If it is related to that project I think h.a.n.d. would be developing. It might not be related though as Chocobo Racing 3D was officially cancelled.

Also I remember thinking Chocobo Racing 3D looked good back at 3DS launch but FF Explorers looks a ton better but I think that looks bad. Capcom has spoiled me.

Right. Terra is based on her default Dissidia Costume. Which is based on the original Amano design.

In conclusion Terra is based off the original Amano design.

Amano's character designs for FFVI (which are really only used for the menu portraits in game) are based on the original SD designs by Nomura.

Nomura didn't just take over FF character designs with VII, he impressed Sakaguchi with his drawings and character setting suggestions already during early planning conferences for VI and Sakaguchi in turn let Nomura work on the first SD designs for the characters. Nomura also contributed art for the manual.

So Terra is now an Itahana adaption of a Nomura adaption of a Amano design.

I feel transforming into classic FF characters kind of cheapens the game though. It seems like an attempt to distract from the cheapness of the game.
