I think you've set up yourself pretty safe. The donations will easily reach 2000, perhaps even 3000, but 5000 is a looooong stretch.
Unless there is someone who enjoys watching you suffer.

Just like last year FF V is creeping up the SNES and GBA charts on gameFAQs.

GBA still gets a lot of pokémon traffic but it is number 2 on the message boards now.

SNES has some amazing guides for the game so its no surprise that it is already back up to number 5 there.

Indeed, with two white mages in the party, all one has to do is equip Hermes Sandals, hit Shinryu with Berserk before the tidal wave, and spend the rest of the battle just using Curaga/Raise/Protect/Blink while the Berserkers automatically whittle down Shinryu's health.

Without a beastmaster, I think the first chance to get it is the pyramid. Having said that, you can missile Enkidu for 3k, then 750. Everyone loves gravity spells, right?

I was a bit worried about starting Galuf's world with Galuf as my team's Berserker.

He one-shotted Gilgamesh with his Death Sickle. That'll show Gilgabot for saddling me with a Berserker.

Knight can be a pretty good job, but I don't like the idea of mass murder against wolves to buy a couple of accesories. The last boss would be the Peta and not Exdeath.

The story so far...

Basically, I just got the Fire Crystal, so now I'm rocking a party of Monk, Black Mage, Thief, and another Monk. At this rate, my entire party's gonna be Wind Crystal jobs.

I got Black Mage as my first job and didn't run into too many problems. Garula gave me some trouble before I decided to pop a Fire Rod in his face. Turned him extra crispy.

Thief hasn't really added much, but Theives with Black Magic is fun. Also nice not having Back Attacks! Stole some Mage Mashers.

And finally, I just got Monk for my third job. So now I have uber-powerful Monks beating stuff with their fists, toting around Black Magic. Fun times.

Funny enough, I didn't even have to fight Iron Claw. Killed him too fast. lol

I've never had an easier time with Exdeath's Castle, including the time I learned about the statues in Bal Castle's weakness to level 5 death and literally ground out every expensive job before leaving the place.

Float ignores lava damage.
Hastega is just one of the best spells.
Old works on the dragon enemies.
1-2 Scrolls kills every non dragon random enemy.
Berserk stops the dragons from doing their good attacks.
Protect/Shell/Blink/Haste turns Exdeath into a kitten. I didn't even reflect stuff back at him, just buffed up, healing all the time, moved the Ninjas into the front row and BERSERKED them for the hell of it.

Also ran through the Gil Cave three times. I used reflected Curagas for an easy but MP intensive win.

Avoided the full Wind party... and no Berserker! But now, the temptation to grind all the ABP for Dualcast on both my Black and White mages is so very high. And most difficulty or challenge is now pretty much gone. Gonna go take advantage of the low prices in Lix to stock up on needles I guess.

Now the team building portion of the game is done. We're off to the next world. Before that though we need to body some meteorite guardians before we can get passage.

Titan summon is going to last me awhile and will be immediately useful for the proceeding fights. He was easy to boot with dat monk/berserker health.

A little annoying with a berserker as one kept dying before the rest and Arise'd the others back to life. Solune went in too hard.

Aqua Breath still hurts a lot right now. We almost got bodied but with that we're off to a big bridge.

Gilgamesh my future friend we must do battle now. Pretty standard beat down that got slowed a bit after he protected up. Good thing not too many bosses buff themselves with protect as my team is barely two dimensional.

I thought about fighting it legit but nah let's go with that 10-0 Phoenix (Down) match up.

A really junky boss that's what. Last year I bio'd the crap out of it, this year it got Titan'd with punching on the side. How did this thing beast all the Wind Drakes.

Now this was a real fight. I had to blow elixirs to kept Golem alive. Everybody wanted to body this guy including my berserkers. A little frustrating but at the end of the day I've gotten a great support summon. Now physical attacks aren't a problem anymore. Also picking up the Bone Mail for Solune makes him even tougher but no more regenerable life and he gets lit up by fire.

The Death Sickle is pretty nice here. Multiple berserker players should probably invest the time to grind some out.

Yeah it's in an order. All white spells starting from cure to holy then all black spells in the same format. So you yeah you'll eventually get Berserk.

If you're asking about the Death Sickles I don't think they're obtainable in World 2.

Got the Chicken Knife and grinded running away from a couple hundred battles to max it out. Between that and the Twin Lance in her left hand, my level 30 Ninja is now doing ~3500 damage per turn. Of course, half the time, the knife causes her to auto-run from battles, but I'll take it.

Getting close to maxing out Red Mage for dualcasting black magic too. This has been a pretty smooth run aside from that first Exdeath fight so far.

The Pyramid is up next.
