Twintania is destroying me. I guess I could grind for a couple coral rings to survive tidal wave. Any other tips for a Knight - Thief - Black Mage - Beastmaster party?
Bio with a Poison Rod equipped does wonders.
Oh, but you need a Black Mage for that.

You can hit him with instant death or toad when he's charging his laser.
They can be confused. I've done it.
Cool, did not know that. I'll give that a shot!

To go along with that, I'm pretty sure tidal wave is a counter to physical damage, so just wait out the charge.
WHAT? I sat there forever trying to get one to cast White Wind and it never did (with confuse). WTF
It's a 1/4 on most of them. The other 3/4 times they'll usually hit themselves.
You can try blinding them or even heal them.
Heh, I did exactly this. Sleep then Black magic till dead.Atomos, WHY U SO EASY?
But seriously, I just put it to Sleep and just Bio'd him to death.
Other than the opening Comet salvo, it never attacked once.
So far, Black Mage has been my saving grace on this run.
Huzzah! It took me 52 Baldanders, but the Rune Chime is mine! Now I have two awesome Black Mages!
After my Black Mages toasted Magissa in record time, I decided to attempt a complete Bestiary run (sans the add'l GBA content) in honor of the Muscle Bound Widowers Fund (and, of course, for the children). My party (Black Mage, Red Mage, Bard & Chemist) has rendered most of this challenge actually pretty easy, though I am dreading Omega.
One question I have though relates to the Magic Pot. If you feed it the Elixirs it wants, does it show up in the Bestiary as being defeated? Or am I going to have to get extraordinarily creative on this one?
Elixir puts him in the Bestiary, just checked.
I'm in the long procession of bosses in the Rift, and just beat Halicarnassus. Even though I'm now fully healed up though, I don't think I can do enough damage to Twintania to take it (her?) out effectively.
What's your party? If you have toad or instant death, you can use it during the gigaflare phase to cheese Twintania out.
yeah im in the pyramid too, whats your party? l5 doom and bard songs make this level a breeze usually
also helps to equip those elf capes too, and shields if you got them. makes you pretty difficult to hit!
I do not, Monk/Mystic Knight/Ranger/Dancer, I'm pretty much all physical.

Well, my last save state is from World 2, so there's no going back at this point.
If you look down by the party it says Blue Dragon 3 and when you kill one it drops to 2 etc...I guess they wanted you to fight 3 but the sprites are too bigIs there a bug with the Blue Dragons in Exdeath's Castle? I fought "a" Blue Dragon that seemed to be three(or more?) Blue Dragons stacked on top of each other.
You can leave. put escape on your theif or whoever, and run from all the battles to get out of the rift. should only take a few minute to get back to the regular world.
Remember, Spellblade Silence incapacitates Omniscient!Wow, this actually worked. I was able to just run all the way out of the Rift.
