When I go to Amazon's site, it just tells me to sign up to be notified when it's available (PS4 version). Has anyone actually preordered or will preorder once you get the email from them?

Might hang onto the SE order a bit longer for now...

I just popped in here to echo the same thoughts since I noticed this thread hanging near the top of the board a good chunk of today.

The first time I bother to order a CE from Square, they put it up on Amazon anyways!
 
Just got my cancellation confirmation email. Hope Amazon gets it to me on release day. Email said 2 days after. Never had that happen with a non Nintendo game.
 
Mess. Am I one of the few people still looking forward to Type-0? I would have gotten this with or without the XV demo (though it is a much appreciated token). The artwork and music of this game are reals good.
 
Just ordered from Amazon UK. Don't like the look of Amazonz exclusive "Frame" edition. My Oblivion Blu-Ray stands out like a sore thumb in my collection because of the format.

I'm looking forward to it a lot. Waited a long time to play Type-0 so I'm very excited for March
 
Damn I just got my cancellation from Pepita...

Although I got my preorder for the PS4 version in with Amazon, I'm wondering if maybe they'll cancel or something because of a stock shortage. Maybe I should put in an order with S-E again...

Is that what people are doing?

I am too. I actually don't really like demos much, I'm much more excited about finally playing the whole Type-0 experience.

I usually avoid demos because I prefer keeping all the surprises for the full game, but I will give the FFXV demo a try because I'm hyped as hell and it's such a long time coming. In the end it's just a small bonus on top of Type-0 for me.
 
I usually don't play demos. Only played Lightning Returns' demo for the Siegfried garb. I'm excited for Type-0 itself much more than the demo.
 
Sorry if everyone knows this already, but I haven't seen it posted anywhere: UK amazon has boxart for the standard edition of FF Type 0 HD, and it lists a limited edition as well as the collector's edition.

Listing for the limited edition says the following:
Pre-order at Amazon.co.uk and receive a Final Fantasy Type-0 HD FR4ME Limited Edition while stocks last. So the fact that I can still preorder it from S-E means it's still in stock, right?

Also, do they have a good reputation with shipping stuff? The last few CE/LE items I've gotten from Amazon have been smashed in and I'd be pretty pissed lol.

It's not just a PSP port (the graphics have been completely overhauled, soundtrack remastered and even one song added and gameplay improved) and in addition to the best of soundtrack CD and a pretty sizable FFXV demo, there's a 200 page manga and an 80 page hardcover artbook + a steelbook cover for the game itself. That's much better than a lot of other Collector's Edition around the same price range.

Completely? That would imply a remake, there's still clearly a ton of PSP level assets in there. But still, it's not a bad package for $100, even if the game itself is a bit dubious at full price.
