Hopefully they release it to consoles next year. Could be they wait for Rebirth to be out the door first

Does the game have any Costume DLC for Tifa?

Yeah. Obviously gacha

Not just gacha but an especially shitty gacha. Do pulls of 10 while rng decides how many "points" you get towards obtaining the costume. Need up to 12 and that's just for one of the two banner costumes.

And of course the price of gems for pulls is stupidly high which puts them pricing these costumes at well over what a full priced AAA game costs. The free gems seem generous but they run dry quick. They went whaling hard.

Does this spoil the original game ? I've never played FFVII and I was hoping to discover everything with the remakes...
The story is an extremely pared down retelling of the original but it doesn't go past where FF7R ends. I assume they won't start releasing those chapters until the next part of the remake is released. It does have Crisis Core story which is the prequel featuring Zack and First Soldier story which is a prequel featuring Sephiroth and 3 others that aren't in the original game AFAIK.

Been playing the game since launch and I can confidently state that this game sucks. Only reason I'm still 'playing' (aka leaving it on Auto AI while I play better games) is to grab free gems so I can roll for the neverending supply of new Tifa outfits (Swimsuit Tifa -> Amarant Tifa -> Santa Tifa -> probably a New Years Tifa coming in a few weeks).

Really though, this game is incredibly grindy and boring. I can't see this game surviving past 2024 unless things drastically change, especially considering SE is shutting down better gachas like Dissidia Opera Omnia.

They added the Kalm flashback a week or two ago so it actually does go past Remake's ending. But that's probably as far as the FF7 story will go prior to Rebirth's release because they're adding story content at a glacial pace.

Hopefully it will modded to remove all the gatcha stuff, gameplay changes, etc. So we can finally have a real remaster of FFVII.

Ah, I quit at Halloween. The way content had been released I figured they were on a tight leash for updating the FF7 story parts.

Dream big my friend. The more likely thing is people will rip the classic models from this game to mod into the PC version of FF7. Which is likely the best we'll ever get.

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
spent 400 usd to get all the Tifa stuff just now

Feels good man let’s go
