After more than 3 years of waiting I don't think I have the energy for any major news, I just want a release date and a readily available demo.

I'm more than happy with a demo at this point. But the release date is more important. If we get the game sooner than the demo wont matter as much

my fear is that it will indeed be spring - summer release, because of so4 international in february and wkc. they may not want to clutter their releases up.

Then again, I'd LOVE to see an announcement of the actual date. Since the previous announcements said "Spring 2010" I doubt we're going to see the game before March or April, though a surprise January or February release would probably stave off a lot of would-be importing. I wonder if that's the point...

I tweeted about the fact I was encoding a video for "an hours time" and just got a call from PR making sure I knew what the time was - so don't expect it on Gametrailers and the like at 3:30, as that's when it goes up on the FTP (it has now been taken back down). The only people who are supposed to have it before then are Square, MS and Sony.
