Final Fantasy XIII Information Thread | March 9, 2010 NA/EU

Man Lightning's little sister (Vanille?) is such jailbait. I swear they went with the thigh-highs and school girlish skirt to play to the loli-crowd.

Not to say I don't like her design, heaven forbid. :lol
Wonder if that issue of DP is out on stands, will have to check the bookstore today over lunch.
 
where's the thread? did duckroll want to make sure the Official Thread is 100% free of spelling and grammar errors? I want to see the banner before i go to bed!

SOON. I had to do real life stuff earlier. Just got home.
 
I just want to know if I can enter that thread and read impressions without having spoiler-jizz spilled all over my face.

I should play it safe and stay out though :D

I am not the cause of this hold up! In fact, I was considering putting up a rk quality official thread for the game if the real one isn't up soon! :lol

I just hope that you'll actually be able to DO some of the cool things in the cutscenes instead of just idly watch. See FFXII and Dirge of Cerberus for more information. I mean, the first 15 minutes of FFXII are awesome with the airships flying everywhere shooting and then you play the game and the entire game is your party walking from point A to point B. DoC was especially egregious in this, Vincent can flip over a helicopter in slow motion and kill it with his guns in cutscenes but in the game all he can do is jump 2 feet in the air and shoot 1 bullet at a time. :lol
 
well. it appears i won't make it for the grand opening tonight. I guess i'll just see it tomorrow then! Hopefully won't have to wake up to any bans on the first page :lol.
 
I probably won't be able to resist poking through the official thread over the next few months... as long as spoilers are marked and enforced by the powers that be. I don't mind seeing impressions about the graphics, gameplay and such!

I wouldn't avoid the new thread like some of you, so I'm going to be in there absorbing any spoiler shocks that may come about :D I can't wait for March.

Even spoilers... enh... I don't want to hear them, but if I do it's not the end of the world. Spoilers aren't really the most important part of the story, but in seeing how they play out in the game. I had Aeris spoiled for me by Andrew Vestal's Square Net back in the day and it never really affected my FFVII enjoyment.

Who is to say you wouldn't have enjoyed it 10 times more if you didn't know HUHHUHHUH!?!?!? We'll never know.

Once you go gaf you never are free to have a life outside of gaf :D / :lol


However, I know we all want the Kagari special, I bet she should have had a count down timer, like the official sites, someone make a JS and make it happen.
