Heh - yeah, some of the changes made the game more accessible to noobs, but less interesting for veterans. Like, me and my friends used to have loads of fun hanging around at zones and protecting all the low-level folks from chains. Then Square made it so the chain disappears when their target is gone, suddenly those guys didn't need protection anymore.Darkpen said:A friend came back to the game as I was leaving, and he got pretty disheartened at how "noobified" the game got while he was gone. :lol

ffxi was only like $13 a month. but how they get you was 1 extra dollar for the card game (terra master) and a dollar per each additional character you haveIron Toaster said:If this is less than $15 a month then I'll probably get it.
I never even tried Tetra Master. I have one mule, though. He's my original character. I made a Taru before I realized the error of my ways and went Galka.Nakazato said:iffxi was only like $13 a month. but how they get you was 1 extra dollar for the card game (terra master) and a dollar per each additional character you have

awwww. well thanks for the heads up duckduckroll said:Since no one has posted it yet, I'll go ahead and say that Famitsu clarifies that the "campaign code" has nothing to do with a FFXIV beta. It's simply a code which will eventually grant you a "secret item" inside FFXIV itself. If anything, this indicates the game is coming out a lot sooner than expected?

falastini said:A beta for the millions of people who were going to buy FFXIII seemed unlikely anyways. I doubt they want that many testers, especially with all of them being from one region (japan).

Ouch that sucks dude, sorry to hear. Fix it asap!falastini said:If there's one thing you can say about SE, it's that they know how to make some cool looking gear-sets. Let's just hope they put out more then a few so everyone doesn't look like clones end game ala FFXI.
Shield-swords? Gun-blades? :lol
btw OT... apparently somebody hacked into my ffxi account, even though I only played for one month, and that was several months ago. just noticed i was getting billed for it. :/

No final decision made yet on payment structure for FFXIV, but says the base system will be a carbon-copy of FFXI's. Universal servers as well.JVN : Le online sera-t-il payant sur Final Fantasy XIV ?
