Very lucky. The franchise has been pretty rocky for over a decade. They could end the series for hardcore gamers with this game if it isn't phenomenal.
I think people will be disappointed if it isn't the best thing since sliced bread anyway, which it likely won't be. The one year silence has left me doubting.
People trying to scrounge any little thing they can at this point. SE is lucky this game is surviving off hype alone right now.
I wonder how many of those people who got excited for this game when it was first announced back in 2006 are still hyped today.
I'm willing to guess that the majority has moved on.

I don't know about others but if this game isn't that good I wouldn't really care. Final Fantasy XIII was like a death blow and it's hard to recover from something like that. I kind of feel that this game will have an excellent story so I really want to play this.
Man, to be a fly on the wall of the dev room for this game. At this point, I'm almost more interested in the development process of the game than the actual game itself.
Game name has now been changed to:
Final Fantasy XV: The Last Guardian

Honestly when I first read the thread title ,I actually thought that the game's name has been changed yet again lol
I'm still excited for it. Though i don't like the change in gameplay. I prefer the more traditional style like it was before-

It looked similar to FF12.

...what? It looks exactly like KH in the 2011 trailer. Hardly "traditional"

jk
The gameplay looks nothing like it is now. It's completely different.

Kagari and Duckroll were wrong all along; little angel Noctis will come to TGS and bless us with new footage that will make nobody question Nomura ever again. After that trailer, people will see the light that he has been trying to show us all these years, and after experiencing it we will understand why FFXV has to come out in 2017 and why Nomura's Batman design looks like Bahamut who took a bath in a junkyard.
TGS 2014 will rewrite history on how we see videogames and Nomura will be leader of the movement; hold my hand and witness greatness or go burn in a hell where Star Ocean 9 is already waiting.
THIS will be the year.
The gameplay looks nothing like it is now. It's completely different.
Kagari and duckroll have been shrouded in darkness for a long time now
tomorrow the light will shine upon those lost souls once more
No need to guess. I can tell you with absolute certainty that they broke their promise to "reveal new information on a regular basis" as we've seen noteworthy since the E3 rereveal.I'm also curious how many promises have been kept since last year's reveals and original interviews.

^This. It's really sad how SE is going about it.
I keep seeing people mentioning FFXV being at TGS. No way it'll be there. Get real people !
In fact I'm so sure it won't, I'm ready to suck all the dicks available if FFXV ever makes it in the event.
