It makes sense. Mystic Ray rocks both Morrigan and Hidden Missiles because it sweeps the screen, and Wolverine is already hard for Morrigan to deal with at the start of the round. Really, Angelic has one of the best Wolverine assists backing him, he's just a mediocre player so it doesn't get him the results it could. No diss meant in any of that. His Dormammu has become solid recently, though.
