That's cool, and understandable. I wanted all this stuff anyway, and my initial plan was to just sell my CD key from the one I bought online with Blizzard. I kinda wanna keep my CE, and I'd rather not sell it unless it's worth it.

Did not try the one in Irving, didn't even know there was one! I did Plano and the one kinda east of 75. I'll have to give this other a try tomorrow, thanks!

About being in Canada?
There's also a Best Buy right across the street you might want to try. Their PC section is real teensy, but if you're in the area it couldn't hurt.
EDIT: And 3 GameStops along MacArthur, if you're really determined. Now that I think about it, my morning commute to Irving is littered with game stores.
Abit mad I was living in Quebec for abit =P Stores always seem to have shitty stock for everything and we get fucked bad for midnight launches.
Only reason I hadn't pre-ordered was because I wanted to play today but it seems they actually got their shit together for once and delivered on launch day.

Nothing wrong with wanting to keep your copy. I won't pay over MSRP for the product, it isn't a need, just a want.
Maybe if someone on GAF has more than they can use and are not into price gouging, I will get a chance to buy one at a fair price.
It isn't like I can reliably play the game until Blizzard fixes their server and bug issues on release week.

I got lucky, was able to snag a CE without preorder at Best Buy today. NICE!

I guess the moral of the story when it comes to Blizzard CE's, is to preorder the day it gets announced. I'm so going to do that for Mists of Pandaria. And my Diablo 3 CE shipped, should get it tomorrow.

I just went from not buying Diablo 3 to purchasing the CE with express shipping. The trial version is crack, I tell you!

I know this won't work for everybody, but if you're military oriented, Nellis AFB in Las Vegas had 3 Diablo 3 CEs sitting on a shelf today. Check your exchange. And by the sight of the loads of CEs sitting there from 2009-2011 releases, I'm sure you'll be able to find one. And you know, no sales tax on base either.

Went in to Walmart to pick up D3 as an "End of Semester" gift to myself, and found this when I walked back to the video games.
Needless to say, now they have one less.
Why can't I find one in Europe... =(...

I cant find even 1 copy of standard edition in Poland that isnt overpriced.
Game is sold out everywhere.
That sucks... here in Portugal I can find the standard and a normal price (If you want one let me know) but the CE, that is the real challenge...
Keep your eyes and ears open, OP... when SC2 launched, CEs were showing up here in Orlando almost a week late in some places. Because of that, I actually ended up buying the standard edition, having been lead to believe that my store was getting no CEs. So when it came in, I ended up double dipping and calling Blizz to deactivate the serial of the standard game, so I could give it to a friend.
In Poland normal price for D3 is around 60$, but in Portugal its probably 60E just like in battlenet shop, right?
Yep... for that price you can do a better deal in poland... see, not even in the standard I can get a good deal... =P

You'd be surprised how often Wal-Mart has CE's buried under all the shovelware like that. I see it all the time. I got a brand new CE of Bioshock 2 for PS3 for like 20 or 30$ a few months ago. Got my CE of Diablo III waiting for me at my parents house.. sadly I've been too busy working to head over to pick it up ._.
