Just slapped the Fire Emblem on the Blue XL already here.

Now that my excitement fell off you're right. I preferred the colbalt colour too.

I need a 3DS to play Fire emblem and normal 3DS was too small so eh...

This is NOE they don't do price fixing (going as far as not announcing RRP) and like to blame retailers for things being expensive, rather than their high wholesale costs.

Amazon.co.uk have pre-orders up for £220. Looking at what other 3DS XL bundles sell for I'd expect that to fall to £180. Well at least I'm hoping it does or I'll just wait another day...

True, but they should've at least put the effort into making it cobalt all the way through like the OG system for the XL. Otherwise right now, it looks like they just slapped the decal onto it.

Hell, if I had the actual print as a decal, at least I'd slap it on correctly so that the symbol is 'right-side up' when you open the lid.

What? No, the cobalt is much darker in real life. If the XL was colored cobalt, it'd look amazing. The current blue on the XL is too light for me, and I love all shades of blue.

Well when you said original, that's where I got confused as there's only been 1 blue for the XL versus the 2 for the OG version (aqua and the FE cobalt).
