I'm happy to see firefly in any form it chooses to take.
Firefly Online (iOS/Android online RPG)
Take my money...
Gorram mobile.
I want to believe this is going to be good, but it'll end up poorly executed and nothing but a cash-in to try and bleed money from fans of the show.
Us Browncoats want a Firefly revival, just not in this form and without Joss at the helm.
I wonder how it'll play off a touch-screen.
I'm typically against touch-screen games.
Game would have made a great SP WRPG. The rise of browncoats!
Whedon's style isn't camp but ok. Personally I love his style and the Avengers was better for it. But I get that it's not for everyone.FireFly was too campy for my taste so I didn't know what to make of it. I really dislike Joss Whedon's style. Hated The Avengers because of it.
Has the popularity of FireFly died down a bit? I remember there used to be posts on reddit about it making it to the front page almost everyday 2 years ago.

Firefly Online (FFO) is a multi-user, social online role-playing game that will initially be available for smartphones and tablets, includingthose based on iOS and Android operating systems.
Oh, so you're just opposed to the very existence of videogames on mobile platforms?
Huh. Hope that works out for ya, chuck.
I don't have access to post a new thread (anybody?) but the first trailer is out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8y98otfH9X8&feature=youtu.be
As announced at SDCC, the original cast is returning for voice work.
oh boy
it sucks
It's a tiny indie studio, I think part of the problem is people expecting a $100m dudebro action game.

I'm trying to watch this show. I'm 5 episodes in and I can barely tolerate the campiness and the badly shoehorned cowboy aesthetic. I'm hoping it will enhance my enjoyment of Serenity, but I'm about to give up on this plan.
