First Look at the God of War Collection Trailer!

Ports look pretty decent, though I wish they would have redone some of the textures.

Certainly some are better than others, but in general ... it's typically not a serious problem.
 
Man, this is so awesome! I missed GOW2, so I will finally be able to beat it befoe GOW3.


I'm so happy action-adventure games are getting spotlight again! (I'm sick of FPS)
 
I thought the second game was pretty much flawless, but I don't particularly want to revisit the first. If they're going to leave the Hades and sacrifice levels the way they were, and I'm pretty sure they are, I won't be playing. So I guess I'll wait for a price drop, because I'd still love an HD God of War 2.

someone posted a few pics of gow1 on ps3, it looks pretty good upscale
i'd say go for it
gow1 and 2 are 20$ each new here (canada) prob less if u can get it used

so is there pricing yet? this disc includes gow1/2 and gow3 demo right?

$39.99. I got it on Amazon for $31.99 after Gold Box and ECA.
 
Makes me wish I never played GOW1 & GOW2. Just to relive the masterpiece all over again for the first time. You guys who have never dipped in krato's world are in for a treat.

1st day get for sure.
 
I guess it's almost time to do another GOW play through. I just finished CoO. God dammit I love this franchise.

I hope Sony Santa Monica keeps making kick ass action games.

Go for the PS3 collection, even upscaled to 1080p, the PS2 games don't look as good as this upcoming collection.
 
Looks pretty much like I expected. Will be nice to replay these. If these games aren't the epitome of epicness, I don't know what is.

Watching that trailer reminds me of the Underworld section in God of War 1. In my opinion, that place is terribly designed and unfun. A stain on an otherwise fantastic game.
 
Looks good! Having just played abit of the 2nd game not too long ago (and putting it down once I found out the collection was on the way) I am excited to finish what I started. These were quality games to begin with so they clean up nicely. Definitely worth the $40 for the collection.

Man, I was thinking the same thing when I watched the trailer. I had forgotten just how crazy awesome GoW2 was with its set pieces and sequences. Naughty Dog and Sony Santa Monica don't fuck around.
 
Er this is cool, but won't it make you sick of GOW before 3 comes out? That's my take on it at least. I would rather go into GOW3 fresh.
 
Looks great, I may double dip. At least now all the haters can STFU about GOW 3 = GOW II HD. From the trailers it's clear that GOW3 is vastly superior.

GoW Collection = November.
GoW III = March?

Four months is plenty of time inbetween.

Yeah, I think lots of people would, especially for the fact that it upscales the graphics (a lot) and adds trophies and a GoWIII demo (right? it comes with that.....?). I think there are lots of people that have non-bc ps3s games that might have missed these games and would have paid $40 for a pure port of these titles.
 
This almost makes me feel glad I missed GOW 1&2 on the PS2. The day it came out a friend borrowed my copy and I never saw it again or tried to buy another. I am so excited to actually play this after all these years. Especially in HD. :D
