Honestly though.. I thought the Wii would be better than this shiite

The Wii isn't out yet and neither is Mario Strikers. Why not just wait until games are finished before making crazy comments.

I'm not a graphics whore. I really dont care if the Wii doesnt match the visual output of the 360 or PS3. What disturbs me is how many of the Wii titles shown actually look worse than whats currently available on the GCN and Xbox.

Seriously, this looks ****ing atrocious.

I could just picture you looking at the ultra sound for your first child some day.

"What the heck is that? A fin? Ugly fish!"

This game doesn't look worse than Super Smash Football on GC.

it can.

developer capability != hardware capability

I could develop a game for the Wii and it'd look like complete shit. That doesn't mean the hardware is only capable of what I'm able to produce.

:O

It makes sense. Mario is a cyborg now, Nintendo is obviously going to teh mature.

Remember the original artwork right... imagine how it could of improved:

Actually, I would agree with you. But not in this case.. This is just dissappointing, I'm talking about the image they took to show OFF the game.

Well I guess I shouldn't even complain. Was never thinking about picking this game up anyways.

Well I definantly agree with you. But this is a first party game, and it's disappointing that they aren't making things look brilliant.. Like usual.

ya ya, I know the game isn't done yet.

It's actually not a first party game, just a first party property. The team that did Soccer Slam from Sega is the one that makes the Mario Strikers games, IIRC?

If true, that changes everything!

Oops, I'm partially wrong. It's still not Nintendo but it's not Blackbox, it's "Next Level Games."

Still...

So what you're saying is that this game may be fun?!

The first was fun, but only "merely" fun. Not like Mario Tennis or Mario Golf. Hopefully the sequel is even more fun. We'll see. Mario sports games are always ace.

Like 80% of Wii games until you see them on video?

and then after you watch the videos... only 79% look like poop? ;)

But, this doesn't seem like a true blue Wii ground up effort anyway.

I like Mario Golf a little, but I like it most on GBA

Same here, actually. Mario Golf is the only Sport game I really play... Had the GCN version and it was only good for party games with my friends, that and Super monkey Ball golf.

Why can't they make it look like the artworks :(

Screw that ugly realistic artstyle finally and make it happen, Nintendo !

At the "Wii Prove Our Promise" keynote, Nintendo revealed a new title for Wii. Mario Strikers Charged is, in spirit, a sequel to the smash hit Super Mario Strikers for GameCube, developed by Next Level Games.
i don't know who they are, but I don't think they're first party (i.e. in-house Nintendo team). maybe they are though? can anyone confirm one way or the other?
