More like PS2 trailer video caps, AMIRITE or what?

Pathetic.

the game looks good on the cube, it looks good on the ps2, and yes, it looks good on pc. I'd still rather play that then some overly normal-mapped duracell family reunion.

Dudes are you blind or what?

The problem is there is 0.0001% chance that those are indeed PC shots. They look, smell and sound like www.gametrailers.com GCN/PS2 trailer caps.

PC gamers that ran their games in 640x480 without AA died in the last century.

I love how the models in RE4 are barely discernable from a lot of next-gen models. Technically there is a leap but to the naked eye it looks quite marginal. I will definitely be buying this if it's not just a straight port of the PS2 game.

If full customization is allowed, I would be incredibly impressed have you the will power not to use WASD/mouse-look to storm your way through levels.

I'm either expecting an honest-to-god forced digital aim due to port laziness or some serious heft on the mouselook.

If they really do leave it as sensitive and sharp mouselook, it'll be pretty absurd. And I'll be let down.

I agree. Although you can expect more "hate" and :lol as soon as we see real ultra hi-res screenshots with the same unoptimised low-res console textures.

Resident Evil 4 has it's moments and certainly has some well constructed models but in comparison to other next-gen titles it's not even a contest. Leon's model is limited in so many ways on a technical level, but I agree Capcom where able to squeeze a lot out of the game considering this.

I wonder how many patching for bugs and hardware-related issues does RE4 stand to go through on the PC. I would be suprised if the number equal or superceede that of Onimusha 3.

Do people still give a shit about this game - as in waiting? Just do yourself a favour, your friends a favour, the whole World a favour and just buy the game. Why anyone would buy the PC version is beyond me though.

Then why post a topic containing "First RE4 PC screenshots" in the title, you should've just made a gamepro hate thread or something. ;)

Heh, I only reported the news :|, don't hate me.

Not my fault that GamePro is full of shit.

I mean posting shots with beta-UI? How low can you go with the whoring, GameLame.

I hope people dont actually expect a console developer to offer a superior port on the pc.

As long as they keep the joypad support, the 32 bits colour and the extra FSAA/aniso will make the PC version the superior one, by far.

No, its the same. It's even in the ps2 resolution.

not true, retail game lets you set whatever resolution supported by your LCD/CRT, I've played it 4xAA 8xAF 1280 resolution 60 fps constand with zero slowdown. If you have the demo just set your desktop resolution higher and press ALT+ENTER while playing, poor demo that's all.

And it looks beautiful this way.
