Isn't she the protagonist in the new Star Wars movie,Rogue One?

Yeah, Felicity Jones. She was also in the Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything a couple of years ago.

Well that's a creepy first post to say about the movie.

I don't think it's creepy to say she's beautiful...?

His sidekicks keep getting younger with each movie.

Well, he certainly has a type - just like Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible movies.

I've been saying it for about a decade now, but Tom Hanks is a total miscast for these films.
They should've gone with Gabriel Byrne.

I'll see this eventually, not gonna see it in theaters that's for sure. This is probably a fun movie to watch at home.

I am going to see it tomorrow with my sister. We both liked the book but I am not expecting a masterpiece when it comes to the movie. I am mostly going to pick up my student discount card that I ordered a while ago. This is one of the few theaters here that shows movies in English on release day so I'll need it for Doctor Strange.

Maybe I'll leave a short review in this thread after I come back from the theater.

Tom Hanks is better than these films.

Why do you continue to do these films Tom Hanks?

Is it just the money?

Both Hanks and Howard alternate between artsy films and big studio pics. They probably have a helluva time making the movies.

Hanks has two Oscars®. If Nick Cage will get a pass for his shit movies, we can definitely give Hanks a pass.

Fuck the haters, I LOVE the movies in this series and from the trailer it looks like the new one will deliver. You just need to let yourself be taken for the ride and not frikking analyze every little thing.

I find these movies entertaining for whatever reason. I know it's just Tom Hanks and his young female sidekick running around European cities. But dammit that's what I'm in the mood for right now!

The books are fun but the movies are not.
I read Inferno last year and liked it a lot but I'm not interested in the movie, even though I love Tom Hanks and Felicity Jones...

I saw the trailers and they showed the whole plot,no?

Anyone spoil the ending and twists for this ?

Can someone tell my why exactly Angels & Demons is a bad film? I mean it's no masterpiece sure, but I thought it was a pretty good film. Well outside of the terrible ending...

The ending of the book is BS.

It really retroactively killed any enjoyment that I had with the book. Really the worst plottwist I've ever read/seen. Shyamalan has been competent in comparison.

From what I remember, because it really is that terrible:
A lot is basically just one big misunderstanding so... Langdon wasn't shot in the head and the assassin that's chasing him only fires blank shots. It was all a ruse for... Some reason. The kidnapped and drugged woman isn't kidnapped and she's being drugged on her instructions due to nausea. The girl tagging along had a relationship with the guy who made the plague and the plague causes half the people on the planet to be unable to be able to make a child.

I think that was about it. It really is absolutely terrible...

The previous movies were bad, I know that but somehow very enjoyable. They are the type of safe as fuck movies I'd watch with a grandparent.

The first was 27% and the second 37%, so pretty par for the course then I guess. Will probably watch it at some point.
For some reason I was under the impression that these films (specifically the first one) were rated well critically.
