Looks too much like a halloween costume to me or cheap compared the other one.

Still not a fan of the raised webbing, that's one of the things TASM suit got right. But it's hardly noticeable from this angle.

Im loving the new eyes, but Im kinda not feeling the new suit. Too much like the Raimi one, but it sort of looks cheaper.

Don't worry guys, I'm sure Webb will explain that he's a just gawky high school kid who has to make his own suit, so it's more realistic this way. Basically the same thing he and fans of ASM said about the awkward dialogue.

Yeaaah. Well, the way everything, beyond Electro's looks, is going I'm going to be leaving the theater feeling very meh again... Damnit. I had such hope for the costume too. These set pics though are not instilling confidence

I mean, I know the last one looked like a basketball, but it seriously looked way nicer overall. It didn't look like a Halloween costume for starters. Put the new eyes on the old one, and maybe tone down the basketball texture on the red part and call it a day.
It's sooooooo damn close to the comics costume. Whats not to like?

Whether that's a stunt double or the actual actor, his body is much closer to Spidey than stumpy ass Maguire.

It looks decent, but its too reminiscent of the Raimi suit... just... not as good. Well, the eyes are a lot better. I dunno..the red parts just aren't doing it for me, and mix that with the way the fabric is bunching up..

This is the best suit in the series, no doubt. The one in Amazing Spider-Man was horrible, I thought. I hate it so much, and I'm not even a fan of the comics at all. It just looks so bad.

But I've come to find that most set photos do that to superhero costumes with a few exceptions, and they usually touch it up on film.
It's better than Raimi's suit, but they definitely borrowed a few things from it.

But I think Dehan (I think that's how you spell it) is a good choice. It's up to the writing to at least be decent so the choice looks good.
The Raimi suit was good, one thing I wish they took from it was the belt. TASM2 one looks too squared and flat, but it's all good.
Tobey always seemed like he was being suffocated in the suit, and seemed uncomfortable at times. I welcome a little bunching to the suit.
