I can't believe I'm getting paid for this!
or
I can't believe I got casted as the lead in a hollywood production!

For Matt Smith's sake I hope this movie surprises everyone. He's a good actor and his career deserves better. I'm really not having high hopes, though. Prove me wrong, Alan Taylor. Please.

The terminators have had human teeth since the beginning. It's just unfortunate overblown lighting and bad photography in general that is making it look so silly.

Okay this is the one that got a laugh from me.

There was a cut section in the script of T2 that dealt with the whole time travel business directly. It was simple, effective, logical and goes completely against T3, T4 and T5.

Basically the war is almost lost for Skynet. Connor and his men storm Skynet's final compound.
Skynet in an act of desperation activates its hail mary device, a prototype time travel facility.
The thing needs tremendous energy for firing just once and got completed just in time.
It sends a T1000 prototype through to 1994, the ONLY one it has built. And Skynet sends a T800 to 1984 for a second killing chance.
Right in the middle of the second Terminator being sent Connor storms the facility. They hack the thing, find out the exact time windows. Then he sends a reprogrammed T800 to 1994 and Kyle Reese to 1984 and then SHUTS THE THING OFF FOR GOOD.
If Cameron would have left this in, we would have been spared T3, T4 and now this.

I can't wait until 2020 and we get T2: The Definitive Edition which only adds this one scene.

Arnold looks fucking great. Can't they just hire MIchael Biehn and Robert Patrick for this? Shit, them 3 look better then the new kids on the block.

I wonder why his hair is a different colour to the ones from the set?

According to the rumors
there are two old terminators in the movie. Old Terminator gets killed fighting a young Terminator in 1984. Young 1984 Terminator is then captured and reprogrammed to be good, ages, and is sent to 1994 to protect John and Sarah.

It's too confusing to try and make much sense out of especially since someone else online said the leaks were true, but there have been rewrites and tweaks so they aren't 100% accurate any more.

Jesus, this is a trillion times worse than I expected, and I expected a flop. What film does better at the box office, this or Sharknado 3?

Hm interesting. I actually hope this Old Terminator is the one we get for most of the movie. He looks fantastic. I'm actually quite a fan of this Old Terminator business. The concept of a Terminator integrating into society and getting old is kinda cool.

Does anyone here remember 1984? I mean, I don't, I wasn't around, but maybe I'm missing something and someone who was can explain how a person from from that time period would be capable of reprogramming a robot from 50 years in the future that a massive technology company from 1994 couldn't even begin to crack. Or does future soldier Kyle Reese reprogram it through its floppy drive or something? Maybe he just twists a screw in the other direction?

I'm hoping for a hacking sequence reminiscent of Weird Science.

I wonder how they will do the time travel with the "Watchman" terminator?
In Cameron's canon, the time displacement facility is a huge "Contact" style piece of machinery made out of giant rings, lots of energy needed and the travel is one-way only.
My guess is they don't really send him, they just bury him or whatever, he ages and then reawakens when it is 1994.

Sometimes I wonder how much of the Terminator franchise's downfall is Arnold's own doing.
He was probably all too eager to use a script for T3 that had lighter tone and comedic elements to help his political career and now this one seems like they go out of their way to explain his aged presence in different time periods.

I'm guessing young Terminator is played by some other dude, and
Arnie
gets killed off early?

If they put that in to visualize to the audience whats going on, i'd be in. Twice. Gurny faces et al.

I am laughing way too hard at this.

You mean I, Frankenstein's Jai Courtney?

Have some fucking respect, please.

I am crying the right amount for this. I made the mistake of paying money to see I, Frankenstein (at least on a Tuesday, so it was half off), but oh my God I was way too sober for that shit.

There needs to be a review system that tells you how sober/buzzed/wasted you have to be to enjoy a film.
