Why would you be expelled? What is the drinking age there?

It's 18 in NZ but everyone starts at about 16. No wonder we're a nation of alcoholics.

First time I got drunk was also on vodka op. Only really starting to enjoy beer now at 19 after a couple years drinking.
 
Also depends how quickly you drink it. If that 70/30 was done in say 5 minutes, you'd be in a decent state.

First time I drank was on double blacks, went through 13 bottles(?) in about 3 hours. Wasn't in a good state.

Shots will have a habit of fucking you up in general.
 
Never put soda or anything that creates bubbles (whats the english word for that?) in your drink unless you want to go down fast.

Oh and if you want to continue this new lifestyle, don't mix amphetamines with heavy drinking unless you want to wake up face down in a gutter outside a Chinatown bar :/

Well if it was the first time you drank vodka, then it's quite common to lose your head early on (depends how much you weight, your first time with alcohol, what you eat and drink while getting wasted). My first time ended in the toilet wrecking the shit with my head when i tried to puke in the pot. Not the best way to end, may i tell you.

Don't worry, it only gets better from now on. You might hate the taste, the headace, the things it makes you do/say, and you can say "never again", but after a while, you'd want to drink another one.

Just watch the dosage and turn your phone off. The worst thing to do is call/write to other people.

Dont get shit faced when you feel you have enough buzz going on just stop. It just goes downhill after that. And dont mix drinks stick to that voda and sprite as you started

First time I drank (and got drunk), I called my brother and left a long ass voice message. Then I said I was gonna call my mom, and they took my phone away, too.

What is it about getting drunk and wanting to talk to your mom? lol
 
Speed of drinking is the most important factor into how drunk you get, you could drink that cup of vodka and not feel anything at all if you space it out through the night, while doing a bottoms up might give you a black out, albeit short lived.

Then the first time you get really drunk you realise just how wrong you were.
 
In my college days the most important thing was quantity and not quality... Today of course is quality vs quantity.
 
Strange seeing these threads. When I was a kid, and what I gather now from people with kids and so on, everyone started around 13-14, and were kind of over the partying by early twenties, though legal age has always been 18 at stores and 21 at bars. Guess it's harder to score booze in the States as a minor.

Haha I was just like you, lightweight as fuck. Literally four loko and 9 shots of vodka would get me fucked up to where I'd vomit. Now I'm taking Bacardi 151 and Kraken and I don't even feel sick, just sad about how the girl I care about will drop me faster than the general populous dropped the Wii U. Stop drinking while you can dude.

Edit: I started drinking this year as well at 17, I'm 18 now, but it's pointless. Drinking more alcohol just makes you waste more money.
 
Tolerance is real and what you experienced is noncontroversial. :)

Yeah, just try to not go beyond that level.

Most people are funny or annoying when tipsy and mildly drunk. The real venom comes when you are truly drunk (I've always considered myself kind of a jackass but when I'm really drunk I turn actually evil).
 
In the coming years you'll learn to actually enjoy alcohol rather than a means to feel like you're spinning.
 
The first time I got drunk was with tequila. I think half a bottle. I only have some flashbacks of that night. At some point I was in the garden sitting next to the dog's house trying to throw up (I hadn't eaten too much that afternoon). Not fun at all. The next day I had to take a bus to NY. Pretty buzzed that morning.

Not that I know of. Cheap alcohol of choice? Probably Everclear if we want to talk about cheap, strong alcohol that does nothing better than get you drunk. If you want to move up a grade, Jack Daniels and stuff like that.
 
Drunk is waking up in horror to find yourself and your bed smeared with something brown, only to realize you bought an Almond Joy from the gas station and fell asleep eating it in bed.

i haven't ever truly been white girl wasted. one time at my friend's birthday party a buddy of mine and I downed about 6 cups of PJ before shotgunning together and then playing pong. Then we found her bottle of bacardi and made some weird ass drinks, no idea what it was. i blacked out so i didn't get to experience being WGW

only other time i got close was a couple weeks ago at my friend's house. got about 1/2 to 2/3 of a fifth of some $12 vodka down then shotgunned a couple beers then relaxed with some casual sipping the rest of the night. my friend had to evacuate the house though so he could have peaceful sex with his girlfriend, so another friend drove me home before the fun even began, so i ended up watching netflix on my nexus and passing out before finishing my show :(
 
My first time drinking and it was brandy! Tasted good but burned like hell.

The drink that got me drunk was Black velvet yeeesh...woke up next to my friend. She filled the toilet and I cloged the sink. Yea we slept in the bathroom. Her mother stepped over us to go take a piss and just laughed at us.

OP, I was around your age when I first got drunk. It was during our "senior week" -- the summer before my freshman year of college. Drank a few Coors Originals and was giddy as hell.
