So it was my first time drinking tonight. Drank a cup of like 70% Vodka and sprite and another vodka shot. Felt dizzy as fuck and my friends took away my phone. Is that a decent amount to get drunk on for the first time or am I a super lightweight.

The lighter weight the better, get tipsy/drunk while spending less. You should try weed see if you like that better.

Reminds me of my first drink at college. Also was offered vodka for my first drink there. Definitely not my favorite type of alcohol by any means. Have used the years following that first drink to gradually try just about every type of liquor to see what I prefer. In college itself, the priority is on cheap and easy, but once you're able to buy your own it's worth exploring your options.

As fun as it is watching people get drunk, I've seen enough people get shipped to the hospital for alcohol poisoning to at least throw out a word of caution. Have fun and enjoy yourself, but I recommend not drinking to try to get yourself drunk. It's better to be the storyteller than the story.

The first time I drank in any significant measure, I did shots of Liquid Cocaine (Jager/Goldschlager), Beck's, tequila, Guinness and Irish Carbombs. Came home feeling like I was 5 feet in front of myself, passed out on my front porch, realized I didn't have my house keys, vomited several times, finally got let in by a family member and went out like a light.

Woke up a few hours later and vomited some more.

It was an experience.

Hey me too! You did better than I my first time. Spent the night neck deep in a toilet, cold sweats and drunk texts.
A word of advice: don't let your friends pressure you into drinking more than you feel comfortable with. I've spent too many nights spooning a toilet from trying to keep up with my more experienced and heavier friends (I'm a skinny dude).
Also... stay away from jaeger bombs. Seriously. Theyruin your life .

People tend to have different personality changes when they drink. My fiancee is the loving drunk -- what you described sounds like that to me. It's one of the better ones!

I fall asleep instantly when I drink. :| It's kind of lame.
