Didnt know they where still using the same test track. Thought they would have tried a bit to get out of the old shows shadow.

Trailer wasnt bad. Seems like a bunch of people told to make a Top Gear show making a top Gear show. Cant judge much from it.

I'm lightly excited for this. They really need to smash the first episode, a lot of people won't give them a second chance

I thought they were going to have a new name. I've even heard it referred to as 'Not Gear' and presumed this was because the name hadn't been finalised.

They would be insane to change a world recognised multi-million £ brand
I could see clarkson's new show taking up something tongue in cheek like that though

He's a cunt

To be fair, so is Clarkson. And Hammond. Both pretty unlikable people.

And I say this as a fan of the old Top Gear. It's just one of those shows where you don't have to like the main people involved as actual persons in order to find it funny/enjoyable. See also: Ricky Gervais shows.

I'll give it a shot.

with new people this show might be actually watchable this time.

I used to watch the show about 8-10 years ago in school but I got so sick of it. Incredibly annoying hosts. And it just wasn't funny at all.

I will check this out, but I hope its not just the same thing with new people.. Interested in watching Matt Le Blanc quite a bit.

Glad the nice camera work is present.

Also lol at the youtube like to dislike ratio..

Really slick production values, but not sure if that alone can make the cast work together, they just don't seem to fit.

Still think it'll ultimately tank, I am sure the first couple of episodes will get decent ratings.........

Well I don't know what they were thinking with Chris Evans....a huge NO NO.
LeBlanc is fine.

Though why all the dislikes ? They should blame Clarkson.

I thought it was a good trailer, and i'm looking forward to it!

Chris Evans though, yeah. What's with the "Yeahhh Baby" does he think he's Austin Powers or something....

I'll definitely give it a chance. But isn't there five or six presenters excluding The Stig? That's quite possibly too many in my mind. Unless a couple aren't always there.

Three or four would be best.

It'll be interesting to see how they've changed the format of the show.

Looks like Top Gear production wise. Will have to wait and see if I like the chemistry between the three new hosts before passing further judgement, obviously. Will watch for the cars and antics anyway.

Looking forward to the Amazon show too.

Looks kind of okay to me. Was never a big fan, but the entire conversation so far has been how it is a disaster. Seeing this is like.. maybe Top Gear is actually bigger than the presenters? I think the long term appeal probably has a lot more to do with the chemistry between them.

I actually quite enjoy Chris Evans being a big geek. Couldn't hear what Leblanc was saying though.

Hammond was voted man of the year by some women's magazine and a TV personality of the year by GQ. He's well liked by some people...

They alternate the roster depending on the film. For example, Rory Reid, Sabine Schmitz and Eddie Jordan are meant to be filming together on a shoot in Kazakhstan soon, without any of the other hosts.

The show's always done this to a certain extent, but a larger roster lets you have more variation.

Looks pretty alright, don't know any of them except Joey from Friends. If they do one of those classic Top Gear Specials I might watch and see how they fair.

Still prefer the old gang of cunts though, so I'll probably watch that first.

Didn't that get stopped? I know the press ran a story on £500k of BBC cash was wasted when one of the trips got stopped.

Imagine, if you can, the same trailer, the same lines, but spoken by Clarkson, Hammond and May. What difference would it make?

Tons. It'd actually make me want to watch.

Surprisingly, a lot of American cars/clips in that video for a first trailer.

Looks good production wise, but Top Gear for me was always best in the streets and in challenges. Got to wait and see.

Alright,that makes sense.
