Flappy Bird! What's your high score?

I haven't played this game, but all of my friends have been playing it, and they all decided to give up today after one of their coworkers got 130. They all seemed really pissed about it.

Honestly don't see why this game is blowing up so much! I mean, it's competent but nothing new. I guess there's innovation in simplicity?

It's that sound it makes when pass a pipe gap. It rewards your brain.

Also, I'm pretty sure that Pewdiepie with his inexplicable amount of followers is at fault for making this popular.

I don't get the appeal. Probably cause I'm terrible at it. But I got like 7 after maybe 5-6 minutes of trying and I still had no desire to score higher.

And holy damn that guy is swimming in it now. $50k a day? Fuck me.

91. So close to a 100 :(

There's something weird about this game. It's like if you overthink it by tapping in a way to set yourself up for the big drops from the high gaps to the low gaps, you'll eventually get screwed and find yourself in an arc that isn't high enough to clear the bottom pipe and if you tap one more time you have zero space to drop down safely to the low gap. On the other hand if you ignore any kind of plan and just tap at a constant rhythm the big drops sort of arrive at a natural time where your arc will fly perfectly over the lower pipe with plenty of room to get through the lower gap. Or this game could just be driving me mad, idk.

15 probably would've got further if some random ad didn't block a top pipe on my 4s saying:

"Sexy single men are in your area" or something like that.

Then next try got to 10 before a clash of clans ad blocked another top pie.

deleted.

Damn you guys. Felt good at 30. You really do get better over time though. I've found that turning off the sound helps a bit.

My high was 47, and I wanted to get to 50 and call it.

I got to 72.

Goddamnit Flappy Bird :p

My God this game is terrible. People are insane.

If you look at it as a purely score based thing, not unlike pinball, it's actually not that terrible. Simple mechanics and such.

Yo fuck that sound. I listen to music instead

Oddly enough, having the sound on helps me get into the rhythm of the button presses more. I tried playing with the sound off and don't do nearly as good as when the sound is own.

13 :(

What's the best iOS copter game?
I used to have a pretty good Blimp game with tap to go up controls although it was more in depth as you could go left and right and had to navigate through a level with goals. I'll look it up.

Also 23 is my high score :(

My high score is 92. It takes a while to score 92, so it kinda sucks to play and get to like 80, die, and feel like crap that you're back at zero. Life was better when my high score was 12.

I love this guy. He totally gets it. I was playing this other day and thinking to myself, "I hope he doesn't mess up the game by trying to add power ups and other crazy shenanigans." But I would like to see the night time changes and bird colors from the android version. Is that really true that the Android version has that?
