Flappy Bird! What's your high score?

i finally understand how a mobile game can be addicting. angry birds never did it for me. flappy birds - well holy shitballs.

high score = 60

15 probably would've got further if some random ad didn't block a top pipe on my 4s saying:

"Sexy single men are in your area" or something like that.

Then next try got to 10 before a clash of clans ad blocked another top pie.

deleted.

What? So the ads actually block the gameplay area? What a shitty way to develop a game app...

129. I had no idea of this game. Went to visit family for the Tet New Year and saw my niece playing it. Her high score was 33.I tried beating her score but closest I got was like 25. Fast forward the next day. I decided to dl it because I was pissed an 8 year old girl beat me. What now niece! 129 beat that!

Yes I'm pathetic.... :(

please post the device you are playing it on.

35 iphone 5

Just went from playing this on my HTC One to a friend's iPhone 5 and it is crazy how different they are. iPhone version runs at 30fps as opposed to 60fps, lower detail, everything seems further away/smaller, really odd.

My top score is 7. This game is hard as balls

2 and I hate this game ... And the guy is making 50k each day makes me more mad. WTF

Why? Good on him for making bank with such a simple, fun, and challenging game. This is where mobile gaming should be headed.

Edit: Oh man, just bumped it up to 13. So proud!

Double edit: Apparently the game is a ripoff so I formally retract my "Good on him" comment

But I would like to see the night time changes and bird colors from the android version. Is that really true that the Android version has that?

Yep, I didn't even know that was lacking in the iOS version.

It's nothing amazing, just some simple sprite swaps, but it's cool nonetheless. My favorite is when I get the red bird at night time.

It seems to only be a problem on my 4s(poor 3.5 inch screen) because, although I told myself I wasn't gonna play it anymore, I switched to my rooted kindle on jellybean and didn't have much of a problem with ads anymore.

Also android version is apparently waaay better. Has a nighttime cycle(barely adds anything but still) and it ran at 60fps while there's no nightime cycle and it ran at 30fps on my poor 4s. Also feels like collision and hitboxes are better.

Looks like we got a Tomb Raider DE type controversy on our hands

Nah but seriously my new score is now 33 on android now after two tries.

Edit: now 41

This is probably wrong of me but I turn on airplane mode to stop the ad pop ups.

Still can't break 15.

I wish he would update it so you could tap anywhere to try again instead of having to hit the button.

I got to twenty. Don't know how you guys can get such big scores. I was bored once I hit twenty and couldn't imagine playing to triple figures.

At work today was introduced to this game 2 other associates where screaming at thier phones trying to beat each other high score they got to 17 im like BAM 37 shut them all up now IM HOOKED to try to beat my own score.

Making 50.000 per day from a rip-off game.. My jealousy expanded to biblical proportions.

*right now probably some 20 clones are being rushed.

8, but that was lucky. This game...

Edit: Aw man, I just reached 10! That's enough. Deleted.

Edit: 21! Deletion cancelled.

Edit: 27. Looks like you can learn this pretty fast.

Can someone with an Android and an iPhone device test this for me..

My android (Galaxy S3) has Flappy Bird playing really slow, not lagging, just the gameplay is slowed right down. Like a second per click at least. Whereas my friends iPhone version is pretty quick and requires more like 2 clicks per second.

Haven't seen anything online, but he just tried it on mine and got 56 first time.

42, which is coincidentally my favourite number. It's a fun little game but it wears on me so fast.

I was reading the polygon piece about it yesterday: http://www.polygon.com/2014/2/5/538...hat-no-one-knows-what-the-audience-is-looking

The hitboxes are ridiculously large, which is the source of much of the game’s difficulty.

This is just completely wrong, no? From what I can tell, there is pixel perfect precision in Flappy Bird. I have come literally one pixel away from a pipe and been fine.
