its not even a flash ko i dont think because theres not a huge wind-up. its just a regular big hook or smaller haymaker. some fighters dont even deserve to be put in the same weight category at all. Seriously wtf @ being able to pick Roy Jones in the heavyweight. EA FTL

Flash KOs do not always KO you. And they can be blocked. And when you miss with one, you can easily be Flash KOed right back, or at least haymakered.

I'll tell you why this game is ruined, because it's the first time I play online (I've owned the first 2 versions). I destroy my buddies offline but in my first ranked match I lost in 5 rounds to De La Hoya This game is an ego buster online, there are lots of good fighter. They give you the option to use it, so it's a part of the game, right? I just don't see how pushing a button for a jab is any different than pushing the stick diagonally for a jab, and why it's wrong to do that.

Exactly, which means you can't use haymakers. I played a douche last night who would throw 100 punches a second and out of nowhere pull off a haymaker. Even if that haymaker lands 1 out of 10 times, he still has a clear advantage over anyone using the stick to punch.

Oh, yeah. Definately use the sticks exclusively. Don't even bother with the buttons. The sticks are what makes this game great, and set it apart from any other fighting game.
