I still have the same amazement. I was alive then and never heard of this movie. I guess someone decided "You know what beloved property from the 90's we should bring back? Fucking Flatliners!"

The premise doesn't even make sense. Somehow flatlining in this version makes them super healthy and strong. What? Who came up with that nonsense. It's used as the reason for the other people in the group to try it. You know, as if dying isn't that serious of an issue and the chances of resuscitation is a low chance.
Spoiler: Everyone is a sayian in this version

What's the over under on how many "DNR" puns/references reviewers are going to make?

it's like those manhuas where when you die you enter an ancestral temple where time is 1 / 10000 and you have time to work out, study, and ultimately cultivate to a higher level. i hear ellen page reaches past the manifestation stage.

Sad to see Ellen Page become the new Thora Birch.

I feel like I haven't seen Ellen Page in anything decent since she came out. I hope it hasn't fucked up her career.

I thought this was a remake of the Micheal J Fox movie, but that was apparently Frighteners. You should go watch that instead.
