Help me GAF-iwan Kenobi, you're my only hope!
These. These are my flip-flops.
As you can see, they're dying a slow death. They're American Eagle brand, bought them on sale for ~$12, back in roughly 2003, maybe 2002. Most comfortable flip-flops ever; if you look closely, you can see they've molded to my toes, balls of my feet, and heels. It's awesome.
Anyway, they're worn thin; pics 1 and 2 sort of show the holes right near the balls of my feet, hence the duct tape. I could live with this, but the bottoms have worn so much that there's very little grip and they're now a huge hazard on wet pavement, even more so with the duct tape. Despite this, I kept on using them, unwilling to let them die because I cannot find a similar "foam" material replacement. To make matters worse, the straps themselves are starting to come up from the foam sole, as you can see in picture 4.
So, GAF, help me. I need flip-flops similar to these, "thong" styled straps with this squishy foam-style sole. I've tried memory foam sandals, it's just not the same though.
