Food that you just cannot stand.

Peanuts and asparagus the only foods I have tasted I cannot stand, the taste (and the smell of asparagus) turns my stomach.

The mayonnaise hate is ridiculous

Nope, it's a righteous hate! Mayonnaise is the Devil's Own Jism!

Mayo - Just No, fucking No!
Offal and Lights - Nope, not a fan.
Bone Marrow - Bleeeeeech!
Water Chestnuts & Cucumber - Why? What is the point of them? Especially WCs with their gritty texture.
Strong fish, Shellfish and Roe - I like some fish but i'm very picky.
Mayo - Fuck Mayo!
Potato Salad type dishes can fuck right off too, Cottage Cheese etc make me boke.

Cooked mushroom - Have to be in the right mood for that but i love, love, love raw button mushrooms. Very strange.

These are the ones that stayed with me after i broke my jaw and had to put everything through a blender for two months. That cured me of many food 'fads' but not those. They are real, heartfelt dislikes :D

Mayonnaise, miracle whip, oatmeal, mayonnaise, and coconut. Can't stand them.

Oh god Coconut, I forgot about that awful shit. Worse than lettuce. The texture is awful, the taste is awful, everything it's own is made awful. Coconut is bull.

Boiled crabs >_< I just can't eat it. Looks like it'll move any moment.
I'm with you on this. Same with most things from the sea that aren't fish for that matter. What I really don't get is why sea food has to be served whole. I don't want to pick meat from a lobster carcass, or get reminded how shrimp are basically sea insects. I would probably like more of those foods if the way they are served didn't trigger my gag reflex.

Olives, bloodwurst, various types of roasted nuts make me gag as well. Olives especially are bad, I had some small amount on a pizza once and had to take it all off because I just couldn't eat it.

There are 4 things that I have tried in my life that I will not eat again:

- Cooked carrots (fresh are tasty)
- Beets
- Peas
- Coconut shavings (tasty flavor though)

Other than those, I usually try new stuff any chance I get.

Raw tomatoes: cannot stand the taste even though I know I'm missing out because they look so delicious
Cilantro: tastes like soap
Raw coconut: just dislike the taste
Onions: love the taste but they don't like me very much

I'm pretty sure I have a genetic deficiency for some flavors based on the tomato and cilantro reaction. If the tomatoes are cooked a little I am fine with them.

Courgette (Zucchini), no idea why but can't stand the stuff. Probably one of the few veg I hate in my adult life (I've even grown to like sprouts).

I used to hate Aubergine (Eggplant) but I've got over than since having it roasted with loads of salt/pepper.

The texture, the smell, the taste...Just looking at it makes me want to puke.

OH I forgot one.

Pickles. YUCK! Last time one got in my mouth I actually vomited in a trash can. The mere smell of them turns my stomach.

Mushrooms. There are some foods that I hate but wish I didn't (Strawberries). There are some foods I love but can't appreciate why people hate them (brutal sprouts).

But mushrooms look disgusting, smell disgusting and taste disgusting. I hate how silently prominent they are in recipes so I have to check every lasagne, spag bol and curry I eat.

Mushrooms, fish, cauliflower and strawberries are just about the only foods I dislike and it's such an inconvenience.

Red meat fat and sinew. Unless that motherfucker is as lean as a neet without a nearby ramen shop, i'm not touching it.

The only food that I struggle to eat for fear of choking is green olives. Absolutely repulsive to me, and I'm not sure why. Not sure how black olives taste, I try to stay away from them given how I feel about the green ones.

Cilantro makes me feel the same way but that's a seasoning I guess.

We started off okay even though I like baked beans but now we are at the point where someone posted a Reese's Peanut Butter cup as if peanut butter and chocolate isn't one of the greatest food combinations of all time. Like that one guy hating on peanut butter and jelly in the sandwich thread. Sometimes GAF, sometimes.

Peanuts. Not allergic and I like other nuts. I just find the smell and texture revolting.

What's odd is that I really love peanut butter.

Ever since I've started cooking, I don't really have anything that I just can't stand.

I mean I still prefer things over another, but there's hardly anything I just won't eat or appreciate on some level.

I'm convinced cooking and experimenting with different recipes and ingredients broadens the palette.

Pickles are the worst. They make me gag and the worst part is they are juicy so they ruin everything they touch.

Ginger should be destroyed only time I have ever gagged hard enough to puke at a restaurant table.
