Over the past year I've been watching soccer religiously, even to the point of getting up early on the weekend for BPL games ( I can't wait til next year when Fox starts streaming Bundesliga games). I rarely watch American football, like actually WATCH the game. Occasionally its on in the background while I do laundry, read, or nap. Today I sat down and watched the seahawks vs. packers game and finally realized how boring it was compared to soccer. American football just has zero pace. Its constantly start-stop with countless commercials or official reviews mixed in.
I know I'm in a very small minority in the states. All my coworkers constantly give me shit for watching soccer complaining about how low scoring it is, as if the score of the game equates to entertainment value.
I'd really like to hear the opinion of non-US gaffers on this. Do you think American football is boring compared to soccer?
