So far the game seems really fun and complex. Haven't noticed any bugs or glitches yet either.
Getting networks issues like crazy though.
 
Give the servers a bit, we had the same troubles in the first few hours before and then it was smooth sailing all the rest.
 
Really looking forward to playing this when I get home, provided the servers are still up lol. Been a while since I last got my hands on it, eager to see the improvements.
 
Whats the best course of action when you see an enemy use a move that makes the exclamation mark appear? (Like wardens side charge)
Edit: guess it looks more like a lightning bolt

the shoulder bash is like a normal guardbreak, meaning you can counter it with a guardbreak. You can also attack him with a light attack while he does it.

Usually though you want to dodge out of the way.

Also,unblockable attacks while being,you know, unblockable CAN still be parried! So if you don't have the room to dodge you can try for a parry.

Haha I was definitely feeling the salt because the game was becoming laggier and so a lot of my moves would not come out or it would dial in moves.
I am also just really excited to play the game again :D
He definitely would have deserved to win as well, he was the first player I ran into today who played at the same level as me.Which isn't high,but also not "totally new"

With kensei ive been doing swift strike, would you say thats worth while?
 
So my buddy invited me to the alpha and I received an email from ubi saying xyz invites you to play For Honor. I open the email and it's completely blank with nothing at all in it. I check again on my phone in case my work pc blocked a picture and nope completely empty email. Is the code on the uplay site or something?

i recommend you watch the basic and advanced video in "how to play" menu for your character.

also for the parry, match your guard to the enemies attack and when his red attack symbol starts blinking, press "heavy attack". if you timed it right you parry,if not,you get hit!
 
When will the servers be back up on PC? I'm having trouble viewing the Alpha forums and stuff - says I don't have authorization.
 
I was pretty into my class already, but now that i know about cancelling the overhead, i am hype as fuck!

Ubisoft do yourself a favor, sort an open beta date, stop showing the game off at conferences and show floors!
 
I can't seem to get into an actual match. All the modes say I need to play a Private match to unlock, but when I go to Private a match and hit play it gives me this message: "Only the group leader can start matchmaking." Like, I'm playing by myself. There is no one in my group. So why is it acting like I don't have group leader privileges?

ON pc atleast matchmaking doesnt seem to be working, i wonder if private is?
