For Honor Technical Test Leaked?

They're called NDAs for a reason, games don't look very good while under active development and gamers are incredibly reactionary, for instance judging by these screens the visuals are toned down compared to the final product. It also affects the company that runs the tests. :|

That's not a justification or a reason for me to care. They're asking us to pre-order the game but refuse to share info on it?

How to spot someone who will never work in the games industry.

How to spot someone stuck in a company echo chamber. Your work is not as important as you think, but if it makes you feel special to pretend your project is top-secret critical stuff...

Also you think only the games industry has NDAs?

Couldn't this guy get sued? Me and a few buddies did some NDA gaming before and we had to sign a lot of shit involving legal agreements just to continue, and I mean a lot. I don't do it now because it required me at times I wasn't on (work times) I'm all for leaks, but after doing some NDA games myself, it always surprises me some people are open to getting caught and even sued.

Either way, I'm damn well looking forward to this game and can't wait to completely deck out my Knight, Viking or Samurai.

sure, but they won't. there's literally no advantage to that. the legalese is to scare people into not leaking it.

who cares lmao one can believe that and still not break an nda. i think nda's are bullshit and don't break them.

Aren't those NDAs just a joke? Whenever I participated in those betas, I just signed up with a fake name. Who cares?

A NDA being a contract, signing it with a fake name is a fraud iirc, also, the name is not the important part, signing it is. So, joke's on you I guess ?

They're asking you to pre-order based on slices of the game that are more polished than the rest of it during active development. Not based on tests not meant to be seen by the general public.

If I was in this test, which i of course am not, then I would probably think that Duel mode in this is one of the most intense things I would have ever played.

Sadly, this is just me imagining it.

Klyka, you're on PC right? Shoot me your Ubisoft username and I'll send you an invite.

Edit: Apparently I missed the sarcasm?

I want to get back in, it was fun :(

It was. But some really rough edges and ideas/concepts that aren't ready yet or I think need to change quite a bit. Really want to talk about this but I can't! Tried in the technical forums and it was mainly just people complaining about features not being in the technical test. People who get into these so often do not deserve to be there and contribute nothing lol.

Outside of that people seemed to be on the same page about certain things. I hope the developers take note.
