I don't think Homeworld is the right comparison here. The vibe is sorta there, but the game is completely different and more like a modern version of Space Rangers without ground combat and stuff there.

I get what you mean. I still get Homeworld vibes though, especially when you look at older videos (I just found out about this game today). The combat looks very similar and I think it has the 360 degree movement.

Space Rangers 2 may be my favorite game no one seems to know about.
I always dreamed of a new one with somewhat modern production value (and maybe replacing the shitty RTS part with something more thrilling, like for example some XCOM-styled ground combat).
