Ford releases some Metal Gear Solid 'Overdub' advertisements

Why can't David Hayter's Snake sound like that all the time?

He's barely growling at the end of his sentences.

I think it usually boils down to the director, take a look at Dinklage in Destiny vs. how well he can actually act. Then when they got Nolan some people suddenly wanted Dinklage back...Who's to blame there? The voice actors or the directors and script?

Well Konami clearly brought back David for that, so maybe David can go back to being Snake with Kojima gone?

Anyway, nothing wrong with licensing out your stuff.

It's highly possible that future games will see Hayter as young Snake, if Big Boss' story is done retelling. Especially if the future title is MG1 remake, with Keifer reprising Big Boss.

At least in the case of Destiny, it was most certainly the directors. Dinklage got so much unwarrented shit for that and now he'll probably never to VG voice acting again, which sucks.

But they fly.

Why on earth, aside from Goku and Piccolo, would they need a goddamn car.

This sounds like whoever directed him basically went "You know the thing you did for MGS1? Do that" And it works. Shame we got stuck with terrible sounding snake MGS3 and onwards lol

Looks like Arby's facebook page finally has some competition. Arby's had been posting these during major game releases.

"Yes, sir. The Ford advertisements are live and the initial fan response couldn't be better."
...
"I agree - Hayter's at the top of his game. We should have known it was the 'wackjob' who had him gargling sand before recording sessions."
...
"Haha, I know. It's comical how fickle gamers are with their 'backlash.' Just a bit more fan service and they'll be practically begging us to release the next game."
...
"Sony? I wouldn't be worried about their precious partnership. Not after our mutual friend discovers our little 'going away present.' Let's just say our friends in Tokyo should be in for quite the surprise."
...
"Yes, sir. The vertical slice is nearly complete. This E3 should be interesting to say the least."
...
"Very well."
...
"I understand."
...
"Thank you. Goodbye."

The ending sold me ill admit.

Totally laughed while at work.

If Snake isn't in Smash 4 NX I'm going to punch an infant.
It's been a rough road for all of us.

Okay, I laughed. Well played.

I assume this means they have a better relationship with Hayter than they do Kojima.

We might get a new Metal Gear Solid, with Hayter returning. I'd buy that.

That was weird.. but nice nonetheless. Also, the (unnecessary) proof that Hayter can still voice MGS1 Snake. Peace and love to all his.. hayters.

I'm confused......dat MGS1 snake voice tho.
The voice I thought was lost forever.

Granted I didn't blame it all on Hayter but I wasn't upset they'd ditch him for five.

Now though I hate myself for going with it...then again I did that when they choose Keifer over the guy from MGS 4.
